Really nice campsite within walking distance of the pretty village of Coverack. Facilities are basic, but because it's all eco-friendly, you feel like you've stayed somewhere beautiful without leaving too big a footprint or encroaching on the locals too much. The compost toilets are kept clean and there was always loo roll and hand sanitiser. The washing up facilities are very useful and the freezer was a genius addition. This was one camping trip where we could keep stuff chilled. If I had one suggestion, it would be for them to provide a basic piece of rope/string to hang towels out to dry. Dome tents are impractical for doing this! The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The pitches are flat and easy to pitch a tent on. It's peaceful and you can hear the sea at night as you go to sleep. We didn't make the full stay due to extremely inclement weather which ripped the pegs out, causing a rip in our tent. That's no fault of the campsite though! No one can control the elements. We would definitely go back there.

Really chilled, festival like vibe at the site. Mix of generations and nationalities of campers. Eco toilets and always warm showers. Great communal charging points, freezer and Wi-Fi area. Short woodland/field walk to the village and harbour. Sam who welcomed us couldn't have been any more friendly or helpful.

This camping was everything we expected! Both calm and friendly, we were nicely surprised by how helpful and warm our neighbours were. We had the minimum gear so we were pleased with picnic/electricity/WiFi area. The owners are mindful of environmental issues, which is very important to us too. The composting toilets are always very clean. Within a 5-minute walk you can discover the lovely little village of Coverack and its typical harbour. I recommend being brave and going in the morning to take beautiful pictures in the fog. To us, the environment surrounding the camping has been the perfect combination of lovely countryside and breathtaking seaside landscapes!

We had a great time here. It's a short walk into Coverack which had everything we needed. The store has essentials but we stocked up in Truro en route. The walk is down through the woods and we really enjoyed it. The shower block is great with plenty of facilities. No fridge though. The toilets were kept very clean. They are eco composting toilets which took a bit of getting used to. Fantastic location. The Bay field has a great view if you don't need a EHU.

Absolutely lovely time away, the campsite is lovely and quiet, the only thing that was disappointing was no hot water in the washing up area. There was always hot water within the shower areas just not the wash up area. But overall, a lovely campsite.

What was an awful 24 hours (weather wise) leading up to our stop over, the sun came, the wind died down and the sounds of the sea was amazing. The pitch was very private, the most amazing view in the morning and a great location. Will be back.

Lovely site in a fantastic location, only 15 minutes walk from Coverack and 20 from secluded beaches. Coverack is also a splendid little town with enough to keep you busy for a few days. We were very pleased with the pitch and the shower facilities. However, the toilets were disappointing. We knew they would be long drop composting toilets, but the lack of any water to wash meant you were left feeling very unclean. It's a real shame, as this is the only downside to our stay, but it's significant enough for us not to return until there is proper facilities, if there ever will be.
Site's response
Thank you for your comments, Matthew. We do supply hand sanitiser in each and every toilet, but point taken and it has been on our agenda. We are in fact trialling a hand wash station this coming week which hopefully will help address the problem. Jake & Annette

Lovely campsite. Spacious pitches in a beautiful peaceful location just 10 minutes walk into Coverack! Owner introduced on the day of arrival. Recommendations of places to visit and walks around the area are easily accessed on the campsite information board.

Beautiful location, so close to Coverack and the sea (about 10/15 minute walk to the beach) and the site itself is a fantastic place to spend an evening with the peace and quiet. Showers are very good, mostly solar-powered but plenty warm enough, everywhere feels clean and there are all the facilities you would need for camping (covered picnic area, communal freezer, washing up sink, toilets, warm showers, etc). Fire pits are also very fairly priced, costing us about £10 for the wood, kindling, and fire pit for 2 nights. Staff are really nice and friendly, Isaac recommended a good car park for St Ives when I said we were heading there, all staff seemed genuinely keen to help. Overall great value, great facilities, friendly staff and probably the best location you could hope for.

Great site, really quiet and clean. Nice walk into Coverack itself. Cabin is really well set up with logs, bedding cutlery etc. Only thing I could have done with was an extra pillow as the pillow a little slim for my liking.

Sam was very welcoming and sent us to a nice, quiet part of the site (away from some screaming children...). Great views and good facilities. We'd stay again.

We could not have had a better stay. Perfect pitch, easy booking, sunrise and sunset spots from our pitch, and very very clean eco-conscious facilities. Natural, spotless perfection. Beautiful lovers walk to the beach, the friendliest people and the most picturesque village ever. Breathtaking views on walks next to coves, incredible x

I loved the place! From the really friendly greetings when I arrived to the perfect pitch which had a stunning view of the sea. I appreciated the sustainable ethos of the place and the well thought out facilities. The location was ideal for exploring the area without having to drive, with an easy walk down to Coverack and access to the coastal path. A great weekend!

Lovely campsite. Very well thought out and in a great location. We had taken 2 dogs too, who settled very well as the campsite was quiet and out the way. Eco friendly and clean! Would recommend!

Beautiful, peaceful campsite just a short walk away from a typical Cornish fishing village. I stayed mid-September so was really quiet on the site, allowing me to choose from a number of pitches (I chose the field with a sea view, of course). The owner was very welcoming and relaxed, as was the site as a whole. Eco toilets dotted around are not nearly as bad as you might expect if you've never used one before. In fact, it felt cleaner than the usual big toilet block which everybody would use. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the great Cornish coast!

Would have been nice to have had shavings for the thunder boxes, but great location and short walk to the pub harbour. One thought is that £5 for a dog was a bit pricey compared to other campsites.

We stayed in Bay Field which was lovely and spacious with a brilliant view of the sea, if you are on pitch 51 to 55. Friendly and helpful staff with charging points for phones etc, even said to us if our fridge or cool box broke, we could use the communal fridge for our food just in case. Dog friendly. Wood fires are allowed and if needed, a firepit could be hired from them. They also supply wood and kindling at a small cost which was delivered to your pitch by a friendly staff member. Coverack town is only a 5-minute walk from the campsite which has a pub, restaurant and small little shops by the beach. Would definitely recommend walking 15 minutes to Mears beach, which is a bit quieter with lovely views. Overall it was a very enjoyable and welcoming stay and would definitely visit again.
