A really lovely site and right on the beach. The chippy van was open all year, it was a lovely treat to have right there. The showers were cleans and warm even in winter.

A great site, my cousin and I had a great time. Lovely walks along the beach. We were shown by another camper a route along the cliff tops. Fabulous 👌

In my opinion the pitches were too close together. There was a large 30 + group of campers right next to us, they had a projection screen and played video games and karaoke into the night. It totally spoilt our stay and so we didn't stay the second night. May I suggest you have a designated area for large groups so they don't inflict their behaviour on others, or an option to park in a quiet area.

Had a great holiday here Oct/Nov. The weather was great, as was the location. My dog loved the vast expanse of beach. Handy place for visiting many other places. Bus service is excellent if you want a rest from driving.

Good site. I'm working in the area, so I'll be staying for about 2 months, and would recommend it.

This is a lovely site with great, clean facilities. There is access to a huge beach, and the toilet/shower block was cleaned regularly. The on-site chippy was excellent!
A really nice and friendly site in a great location

A really nice & friendly site in a great location, close to the beach and very convenient for exploring East Anglia. The site is very clean in all public areas and the pitches are well spaced apart, with all fields/camping areas close to toilets and showers. Didn't need to use these facilities as we have a motorhome but checked them out and they are great. Reception is very welcoming and informative on arrival, and the site warden is on hand at all times should you need his help or general reassurance. We didn't but he toured the site regularly and was a friendly guy. The site adjoins the vast and 'rustic' beach with its sand dunes but be prepared for a very steep climb down lots of wooden steps! That's the only access to the beach! It's a dog owners perfect stay, other than for the steep beach steps! Location-wise, it's great for visiting all of Suffolk's and Norfolk's many lovely beaches and places of interest. Sadly, there are no shops close to easily walk to but there are some in easy driving distance including Pizza places and B&M At weekends, there is a Fish & Chips wagon on site, as well as a tea hut.

First time at this site, we were really impressed with everything. The toilets showers were spotless. It was right on the beach,(Guessing if this was on a hot summers weekend, it could be really busy). A perfect weekend away, lovely thanks!

First time campers so kept it local. Perfect location for the beach, with easy access. Facilities were good and clean. Camping area was flat and rubbish free. Dog friendly and child friendly.

Easy check in, warden escorted us to our pitch and pointed us to facilities. Everywhere was very clean and tidy, nice extras like fish/chip kiosk, breakfast van and coffee van. Rather a lot of steps down to the sandy beach, which is enormous. Stand out for me was cleanliness of toilets and bathrooms.

Shower cleanliness was a bit disappointing. The site can't help how people leave showers and there was a mop to clean up after yourself however, it was rather dirty. There's lots of grime and black mould in the plastic joints and ground in dirt around the foot of each cubicle which could be cleaned. A shop on site for just a few basics like a pint of milk, loaf of bread etc, even if it was a pop-up or mobile shop, would have been handy. If you arrive mid delay afternoon, you don't necessarily want to then drive away to the nearest shop off site. Other than the showers, I really enjoyed my stay, great spot close to the beach! Friendly site, lots of late night family and friend groups having barbecues and drinking, but people were very respectful and kept the noise down. Wardens escorted you to your pitch, pointed you in the direction of nearest toilet blocks and showers and patrolled regularly.

Great little mini get away. Lovely simple site. No issues. Warm welcome. Really close to the sea, we could hear the waves when all was quiet. Small park for the kids to play nearer reception. Chip van, burger van & coffee pod on site.

We both had such an amazing time. It was such a nice campsite and we were both so happy with our position on the site with everything around us. Your staff are so helpful and answered all our questions about the local area. We will definitely be back again. Thank you.

We are return campers for a reason. Hollies is a fantastic campsite, situated next to the beautiful Suffolk coast. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of larger sites such as a clubhouse, bar, shop etc. but that's part of the attraction (and it's also reflected in the value for money). For a big site it's relatively peaceful, plenty of room to pitch tent without being right next door to other campers. Lovely clean facilities and well placed for local attractions. We'll stay again.

One of the best campsites I've stayed at. With all amenities, it made camping with a 6 month old more enjoyable than I could imagine. Will be returning, and will return. Honestly, no complaints.

Had a lovely 7 day family camping holiday, would highly recommend. The only 1 issue we had was the timings of the cleaning of the toilets and showers, as it was around 9am, when most people want to use them.
Great location, a few frustrating issues

Amazing location right above the beach, perfect for beach stays or for anyone wanting to explore the Suffolk coastline. The campsite should be lovely, but has a few issues that caught us off guard. Toilets are closed for cleaning each morning around 07:00 when everyone wants to use them, and the whole site was overbooked, so it was near impossible to find a pitch. But, still a really enjoyable stay.
