A note from the site themselves...

Our wonderful 400-acre farm offers pleasant walks and wonderful scenery for our guests to enjoy. You can expect to see a Red Kite flying over the site, and in the near distance, you will hear the heartwarming toot of the Vale of Rheidol steam train as it approaches Devils Bridge from Aberystwyth.

Our moto here is 'where friends and memories are made- a place to explore and much more.' We hope to welcome you soon, Georgina

Large Tent - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

While not holiday park size, it is a large spacious site with good Wi-Fi coverage across the majority of the site, which was handy as mobile phone service on our O2 network was non existent. The pitch size was adequate, we were on an allocated grass electric pitch, which was not the most level we have encountered but manageable. The grass entrance to the upper field camping area we were based soon became heavily rutted, as vehicles came and went after some heavy rainfall. This could easily have addressed by a layer of hardcore being fanned out near the field entrance, however, only a small number of vehicles had difficulty exiting the camping field. The toilet and amenities block were modern and kept extremely clean during our stay. However, there were electrical problems during the last few days of our stay which resulted the whole block being without lighting throughout the night on at least two nights while we were there. This led to the use of a torch being mandatory if using the toilet facilities at night. Be aware that there is little to no food provisions sold on site, so bring your own for your first night. Furthermore, the cafe, which also acts as the site shop, tended to close around 4:00pm so again, just be aware and don't expect to find a meal at the site shop after this time. Overall and in general, the site was well maintained and what staff we did speak to were friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean, Wi-Fi good and the pitches large enough to accommodate most units.

Super welcoming

This park is great for those that want to explore Mid Wales and the Ceredigion Coast. If you enjoy walking, sightseeing or simply taking in the fresh air and relaxing, you'll love it.

There are walks straight from the field and it's only 12 miles to Aberystwyth. Nearby there is golf, horse riding, fishing, mountain biking and sandy beaches.

In Devils Bridge, scenic walks are available straight from the park and you can visit the world famous waterfalls and see the three bridges built one on top of another.

Take a trip on the Vale of Rheidol Steam Train which takes you into the seaside town of Aberystwyth. Taste the delicious hand made chocolates from the chocolate shop or enjoy a full evening meal in the Hafod Arm Hotel.

Just a short drive away:

  • See red kites gathering together and being fed daily at Bwlch Nant Yr Arian, and take a walk or ride along the marked routes and trails.
  • Visit the Hafod Estate with marked routes through this stunning estate. Walk through a cave and stand behind a waterfall.
  • The friendly Rheidol Riding School is nearby for those who wish to explore by horse back.
  • There is golf available in Capel Bangor, Aberystwyth and Llanrhystud.
  • There are plenty of walks nearby including climbing Plynlimon, the highest mountain in Mid Wales.
  • Take a trip to the seaside at Borth.

In Aberystwyth there is a cinema, theatre, leisure centre, cliff railway, coastal path, promenade, shops, supermarkets, castle, crazy golf, tennis and several pubs and restaurants.

The nearest beach is at Aberystwyth, but although beautiful it isn't sandy. For the perfect beach where you can imagine yourself a million miles from here, try Ynyslas with its long stretches of sand and sand dunes.
