It's just ten minutes from Fort William, the UK's superb Outdoor Capital, with the amenities of Corpach less than five minutes away. For tent campers, there are a total of 66 non electric grass pitches to choose from, simply choose whether you need a small (two man) or medium (four man) sized pitch. The pitches are set by the tranquil waters where Loch Eil meets Loch Linnhe, or close to the beach with mountain views, a wonderful sight to wake up to. Tourers are also well catered for, with a total of 24 pitches. Each of the touring pitches is set on hardstanding, allowing up to six guests, with a 10 amp electric hook up included. The pitches can cater for all sizes of tourers, allowing those up to 9m in length. Wherever you stay, the views are simply breathtaking, with Ben Nevis rising on the horizon and the shimmering loch right there. Pitches are set in terraced gardens, so everyone can enjoy wonderful vistas from their pitch. The site also offers a range of Alpine chalets, fully equipped caravan holiday homes and a modern lodge. The train made famous by Harry Potter chugs past the site in the summer, lending a lovely touch to the atmosphere. What could be more relaxing than a stay by a peaceful loch in the Highlands home to an array of wildlife! For nights in the open, both fire pits and BBQs are welcome, so don't forget to pack the marshmallows. Four-legged friends can also join you for your stay, with up to three allowed per pitch. The private beach and woodland are also great for walks.
