The site was nice but the down fall was that we weren't greeted by anyone. We never saw anyone that worked there during our stay. Most other sites we go to, we check in and are welcomed by the staff, but this wasn't the case here.
Site's response
Thank you for your feedback, we do a contactless check which most of our guests seem to prefer. If there are any issues our warden lives on park and there is an emergency number you can call.

Booked the site for tankfest and it was perfect. 24 hour access meant we could come and go as we please, allowing us to explore the area in the evenings without worrying about getting locked out. The facilities were good, clean and comfortable. Only a small walk from the campsite, plenty of water points as well. Clothes and dishwashing facilities as well as communal freezers to refreeze I've blocks was a wonderful feature. In addition to all of this there was lovely staff that also have a small convenience store that opens twice a day for emergency and convenience such as frozen food and camping supplies. Even had WiFi though it was somewhat limited halfway through the main camping area it was still accessible and very useful. We will be returning next year for tankfest again, if not sooner to explore more of the area.

A manned shop for more hours would be good.
Site's response

We had a lovely relaxing, quiet stay here. The online booking in process was easy and the gate code was emailed to us. We had a meadow pitch with electric. The plot size was large enough for a large tent and two cars. The amenities were plenty and clean. Overall, a great place to stay.

We thought the site was clean and welcoming and easy to navigate. The facilities were good, however the showers could have been a bit hotter. We enjoyed the nature area, but would have liked more areas where we could let the dog off the lead.

A lovely place to stay with an abundance of space and fantastic facilities. Only slight problem was the water temperature of the showers was not hot enough and there were no toilet paper in the morning. And another small nit pick is that the campsite is next to a farm so the smell of cow waste is strong in some parts of the park.

The campsite location was great, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The negative point was the lack of toilet facilities (only 1 block of toilets) and also the boiler was broken from our second night and people were showering with cold water, or washing up with cold water, which is difficult for greasy items. The toilet was very clean on the first day but I couldn't say the same after that. The area is well kept with nice facilities like the play park, dog exercise area and football field. The duck pond is very pretty too
Site's response
Thank you for your comments about your stay with us. We are sorry that the boiler has issues, we are in a rural location and it did take us a while to rectify. We are glad that overall you enjoyed the park.

Loved how clean the facilities were, would be nice if the shop was open a little longer, great to have a dog park though. Loved it.
