Clean facilities, plenty of hot water in the showers. Pitches were not overcrowded, despite it being very busy at the weekend The site is perfectly located to explore the southern lakes. I would have given 5 stars however I was charged to put a tent up on my pitch as well as a campervan, which almost doubled the cost of my stay.

Amazing location and wardens (Paul & Amanda). The facilities (i.e. the toilets) were immaculate but maybe need a few more and slightly bigger. We never had any issue queuing and it was very clean. We stayed in Foxes Den, one of the cabins, and it was perfect for a couple of nights stay. The fridge, cooker, BBQ were all used with no issues and we never felt looked upon due to the layout of the entire site, which was quite busy, but it never felt that way. Brilliant site for couples, friends and dogs :)

Welcomed by the lovely staff and beautiful views! The facilities were really nice compared to lots of campsites I've been to, and the shop was a nice addition. Very peaceful and tranquil setting/environment, though would have liked it if the bright flood light shining on our tent was turned off at night though.

The campsite was well facilitated and had all the basics you would need if you were to stay in the lodges, or even camp. The staff were amazing, so friendly and willing to help at all times. The campsite was in a lovely location and nothing much around, however there is a pub and petrol garage a short drive away. We will definitely be staying here again!

When we left the campsite, we were amazed how close it was to the M6, only 15 minutes drive, and yet it felt a world away. Very peaceful, really only the sounds of birds, sheep, cows and children! Amazing views over the peaks and hills around Windermere. The facilities included everything you could need; toilets, showers, and washing up stations were all really clean and well maintained, there was a communal fridge, washing machine and electric charging points in the bathrooms, welcoming reception and shop that was well stocked with food and toiletries, as well as wood for the fire pits. Sites were well marked out and being a small site there wasn't much traffic so children could run around safely. We were lucky to have beautiful weather, but I imagine in wet weather, it would still work well as there were shared covered areas with benches, and gravel pathways and drives to avoid mud. An 8pm curfew meant you were not disturbed by late arrivals or headlamps after dark, but the friendly staff were a little flexible on the timing. A great pub, The Derby Arms was less than 10 minutes drive and you could walk to it along the roads or through the fields, good food. Staff at Moscow were very welcoming and friendly and gave us a great introduction on arrival. I felt they had thought everything through to make the site work really efficiently.

A lovely campsite in the southern lakes. There are around 30 pitches, a well stocked shop and it was handy to have access to a fridge. The guys running the site are friendly and welcoming, ready with recommendations for places to visit. There wasn't a lot of space for the kids to run about as it was a busy week, but they had fun and liked the site. There was lots of hot water which was lovely - but the downside was smoke blowing across the site day and night from the biomass heater.

Our stay at Moss Howe Farm Campsite was excellent. Paul and Amanda went above and beyond to make sure we were okay and to make sure we had everything we needed whilst we were there. They were very polite and made us laugh (we had a good laugh). We will 100% be coming back soon!

Had such an amazing time during our stay. All staff on site were incredibly helpful and happy to go above and beyond to make your stay the best it could be. Pod and surrounding area was clean and well equipped you can tell they take pride in their site. Loved the hot tub as well, it was a lovely addition. Was so sad to leave, but we're already looking at coming back! All in all had a wonderful, relaxing stay and made some lovely memories here.

What a superb find! Down for a long weekend orienteering in the South Lakes and this campsite was perfect. Very friendly and helpful staff and the pitches were well spaced out, clean and tidy. Overnight, it was very, very quiet even though, there were quite a few tents and campervans. Enjoyed a hot shower after running, but note that at present the facilities are a bit limited (including only two loos for men). The location is lovely in amongst a very quiet and rural part of the Lakes. Hard to believe it was the Easter Weekend with crowds everywhere else.

Stayed for two nights in Rabbit's Burrow glamping pod, it was great! Lovely sheltered outdoor cooking area and hot tub. First time glamping for us and it was an amazing experience with beautiful views. Toilet and shower facilities were spotlessly clean. Hosts were very friendly and chatty, nothing was too much trouble for them. Great value for money, would definitely recommend booking.

Had a lovely stay at Moss Howe Farm. We stayed in one of the mini lodges and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Super convenient as we have a toddler and we only had to bring clothes, food and towels. Lovely small site with friendly staff and owners. Nice toilets and showers that were clean for our whole stay. Enjoyed the hot tub, even in March, and it felt lovely and private. Would stay again for sure!
