About the site
This five-star holiday park, has been family owned since 1972. Nestled in the Cornish countryside, just five minutes outside of Newquay, within easy access of seven golden sand beaches. All guests are given entertainment passes which offer access to the incredible onsite facilities including the Oasis Fun Pools complex with flumes and splash zones, an outdoor pool, eateries, entertainment, and plenty of entertainment for the kids, this fun packed park is the perfect all immersive destination for you and your family. There are 12 fields containing spacious touring and camping pitches, well laid out with roads, lighting and water points, all designed with you in mind. Spread over 50 acres of holiday park and 80 acres of landscaped parkland, there are scenic views of the countryside all around. The camping and touring facilities offer a huge variety of pitches, spread across 80 acres of landscaped parkland. You'll find pitches with open countryside views, as well as more sheltered options and spots closer to the action. There are also car free, family-friendly fields, as well as the Elm premium touring field which offers fully serviced grass and hardstanding pitches. The site has previously won an incredible range of awards including Visit England Bronze Award winners in the Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park of the Year category. Hendra also went through to the Visit England finals after winning Gold at the South West Tourism's Holiday Park of the Year. Other awards include Visit England Gold 5 Star 'exceptional' quality grading and the new AA Platinum 'elite park' 5 Pennant rating, bronze for sustainable tourism at the South West Tourism Awards, a Hoseasons Diamond Award and Platinum Loo of the Year. There are also a range of holiday homes and lodges available as well as large serviced grass pitches in the summer. However you're looking to holiday, you'll find something suitable here! Dogs are welcome at Hendra in designated areas too (though some breeds are not accepted).

Great place to stay although can be expensive in the summer. The site has lots of activities for everyone and the entertainment was good. The swimming pool is great and thoroughly enjoyed and worth the extra cost. The toilet block was spotless! To the point we were questioning whether other vans were using it! It was cleaned constantly throughout the day. Security staff were lovely and warden rode around every night checking on the site to give that added security. All staff that we interacted with on site were pleasant and polite and we honestly couldn't fault them. Our only issue was we had a lot of rain on the day we arrived meaning grass pitches were muddy but not flooded. As we arrived they had just cut the grass and this then made the pitch more squelchy and muddy. Other than that, we had a great time and would definitely be returning in the future.

Hendra Park is in great location, 3 miles from Centre of Newquay. The staff, facilities and service were very good. My only gripes would be the outdoor pool was really cold, supposedly heated. My granddaughters had to come out as it was too cold. Also, our pitch was by the busy road, so not ideal for sleeping.

Things to do on site and in the Newquay area
There's something for everyone at the park, including an indoor and outdoor pool with three flumes, live entertainment, a skate and scooter park, a soft play area, a playground, an outdoor gym, and a crazy golf course!
Newquay is ideally located for exploring the whole of Cornwall, with Hendra perfectly positioned just outside in the countryside. You are near some of Cornwall's best beaches, including the famous surfer's favourite Fistral.
Newquay has something for everyone with Newquay Zoo, Trenance Gardens and boating lake, surfing, water sports and the town has many bars and restaurants too.
The site is less than an hour from Padstow, Truro, Falmouth, St Ives, Mevagissey, Charlestown, Fowey and many more excellent places.
