About the site
A back-to-nature camping site with views of the Welsh mountains, located in a designated dark sky area. The land surrounding the Hafod Hall Camping Club consists of 650 acres of beautiful, unspoiled terrain, making it the ideal base for avid walkers. There is also a large area of woodland, a nature reserve and the Alwen Reservoir for you to explore. Guests can choose between wild tent and campervan pitches set in the picturesque countryside. Please note, there is no mobile phone signal due to the site being high up. If you need to make a call you can use the phone at reception. The owners love animals, and encourage you to bring your dog and relax. There are friendly chickens and sheep here too, with deer and otters frequent guests. During the winter months, November to March, toilet and shower facilities may not be available due to unpredictable weather. The house will be available from 9am until 9pm. Please ring the doorbell outside of these hours. Baskets of wood are available to buy from the site for those hoping to enjoy a campfire.
