About the site
This is the perfect relaxing break, just for adults, and set near Ashbourne, only ten minutes from Carsington Water. Access is easy thanks to the nearby A517. There are five hardstanding pitches with electric, offering views over the Derbyshire Dales. Please note that electricity is metered and is payable in addition to the pitch fee. If you fancy going totally hassle-free, choose from three tempting camping pods. The pods offer cosy shelter with a fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster, utensils and TV. When you fancy rustling up a treat, use the BBQ outside or roast some treats over the fire pit or you may prefer to bring a camping stove to cook up something tasty outside in the gorgeous countryside. Each pod has a private shower and WC room in the nearby amenities block. Two of the three pods are dog friendly. Awnings are not permitted from October to April, and please use green chemicals.

Very relaxing stay. Great for adults and dogs on bus route. Friendly welcome. Amenities very clean. Dogs very welcome - good local walks and exercised in the fields. On the bus route between Belper and Ashbourne - bus stop just outside the farm. Close to Carsington Waters. Lovely farm shop in nearby village. Some road noise, but not excessive - appeared to stop overnight. Excellent value for money - would recommend.

We came up to the area from Cambridge from Friday to Sunday and we couldn't have been happier with our choice of site. Pete was there to welcome us when we arrived and showed us the facilities. It's a lovely little site with 5 pitches, with a lovely view across the hills. Facilities were perfect for what we needed. Location is great and super easy to get to some great walks. Also good pub about 20min walk away. We really loved our stay and we'll definitely be back. Thank you! Harriet & Katy.
