VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Touring Pitches (Lawsons Lane)Aug 2023

Nicely laid out and clean, hot showers. However, there were noisy kids and the café is not open on Mondays. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean and well presented site

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Touring Pitches (Lawsons Lane)Apr 2023

Location wasn't a problem for us as we are local. Quite a flat and exposed campsite... but that is its only downfall. Wonderfully clean and well maintained facilities. Very practical. Farm shop and cafe are excellent. One content adult and one very happy 6 year old.

Bell Tent - Anne's Acre Bell Tents (Dog Friendly)Aug 2022

Lovely farm with friendly staff. However, we were next to very loud family who thought they were at a festival. Our 4 year old was upset because he couldn't get to sleep. They were chatting loudly and singing along to music. They did quieten down slightly after the curfew but it was still loud chatter. We had come for a bit of peace away from London - people can have fun but I felt they showed no respect. At 4am onwards on both nights, there were loud dogs barking from a nearby field. Not sure what it was, but sounded like lots of dogs barking and howling. It kept us awake.

Really nice but basic

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Touring Pitches (Lawsons Lane)Jul 2022

Really nice location with farm shop and cafe. Really popular and busy which meant the facilities were struggling to cope. Recommended though- would return.

Small Tent - Non Electric Tent Pitches (The Old Apiary Field)Jul 2022

In comparison to other campsites, this one should be cheaper because that was what it looked like. But especially the lack of oversight that people were not quiet after 10:30pm. Although these were the rules, eventually it was only quiet after midnight.

Wonderful!

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Touring Pitches (Lawsons Lane)May 2022

Such a lovely campsite. The kids absolutely loved it, space for them to run about and areas to play. There are pigs, sheep and chickens. Clean and tidy facilities- toilets, shower and washing up area. All staff very friendly and the cafe is lovely. Good sized and well organised plots. Will definitely be back!
