About Becks Bay Camping and Glamping
Becks Bay Camping and Glamping at Bubbleton Farm is located just two miles West of Tenby, at the ancient farmhouse ruin of Drussleton. The site offers rustic, back-to-nature style camping and glamping with the luxury of a hot shower and flushing toilets. Becks Bay is a secluded cove accessible to climbers and abseilers - in fact, it offers some of the best spots for traditional climbing and coasteering (a sport founded in Pembrokeshire). You'll also be staying by the Pembrokeshire Coast Path between Tenby and Lydstep Bay with a choice of beautiful walks. Adjacent to the coastal path, the camping field offers several non electric grass pitches for tents, trailer tents and campervans. Camp with stunning views of the surrounding hills and the sound of the sea hitting the cliffs not too far away. Sleeping four, the bell tents provide glampers with a proper mattress, gas stove and all the bedding and cooking equipment they require, and the chance to stay in luxury with their pets! This light and airy home from home is stylishly furnished for the perfect glam break. There is also a bigger 6m bell tent (Fresh West) that sleeps up to five. Easy access to shared facilities. You can also opt for a spacious, fully furnished yurt. Great for families, sleeping four across a double bed and two singles. With all the soft furnishings you need in your home away from home, including a log burner for the cooler evenings. This is complete with a private toilet and shower. Sleeping two, there are also two lovely shepherd's huts offering furnished interiors with the luxury of ensuite toilets and showers, Sand Top even comes with a hot tub! Especially welcome are families, adventure seekers, or anyone who loves animals and life on a real working farm. This is a small site passionate about offering 'greener' camping and working to support local biodiversity. Please note that at least one guest in any group must be a Greener Camping Club member.
Pitches, Sand Top Shepherd's Hut, and the yurt are available from Easter until mid September. Bell tents are open from early May until the end of September. Frankshore Shepherd's Hut is available year round.

Things to do on site and in the Tenby area
Perfect for families, dogs and outdoor junkies as Becks Bay crag offers top climbing opportunities.
On site guests can walk over to the farmyard where they can feed the animals and hide out from the elements in the Sunroom Café at the farm shop, which stocks an abundance of local products.
Becks Bay is known as one of the best coastal spots for traditional climbing in the UK, and is listed in many climbing guides. If you are new to climbing, Climb Pembroke offer courses in the area that will get you going in no time.
Swan Lake is a hidden treat that is great on high and low tides (best on high). It's not suitable for prams and pushchairs but you can drive across farm land and park above the beach. It's very secluded - and often visited by nudists! Good luck finding this.
Skrinkle Haven is also very close and there are two bays. Steep steps access it from Church Doors Cove, or you can swim over. At low tide you can access Skrinkle via a cave - its normally deserted so a great low tide beach. Definitely no access for pushchairs.
Penally Beach is just a mile east and is great for pushchairs or bikes, with a path from Penally Station. The beach is the west end of the enormous Tenby South Beach. It's best enjoyed at high tide - there is a concrete pier on the west end and when the tide is in it feels like the Med (on a good day).
Lydstep Haven is the bay which the farm overlooks and you can park right by the beach. It was a stunning bay 50 years ago, now a private resort.
Barafundle is probably the prettiest beach in the country and a 15 minute cliff walk from Stackpole Quay and tea room. Also further along this coast is Broad Haven Beach, the lily ponds, St Govan's Chapel and the Green Bridge of Wales - a full day out.
Wales has the highest concentration of castles and Pembrokeshire some of the loveliest. Within a 15 minute drive you'll find Manorbier Castle, Pembroke castle, Carew Castle and also the Lamphey Palace - a fortified bishop's palace.
Walking the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is a great activity if you want to explore further and surfing training is available via the Outer Reef Surf School or just bring a board down to Manorbier, Broad Haven or Freshwater West. Boat trips can be taken to visit Caldey Island or go on a seal safari around the island with Tenby Boat Trips. Paddleboarding can be done in Saundersfoot with the company Good Trails.
Other great things to see and do in the area:
- Trefloyne and Tenby golf courses are both within two miles
- Horse riding at Marros Riding Centre
- Heatherton Activity Park
- Oakwood Theme Park
- Folly Farm - an outstanding day out for smaller kids
- The Dinosaur Park
- Hanger 5 - for trampolining
- National Botanical Gardens of Wales
