VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Touring PitchesNov 2022

Spacious, well-kept standing pitch. Toilets clean but didn't use showers as a chilly November night. A lovely location under the Tor, but a dangerous walk into town on a busy main road with poor pavements.

Really lovely little campsite

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesSep 2022

Really lovely little campsite. Perfect view of Glastonbury Tor and easy access to Tor. Campsite was really well kept, and a good sized pitch. The host came to our allocated pitch to introduce himself and he was extremely welcoming and friendly. Had a great little stay here. My son and I would have loved to have stayed longer and will most definitely return again in the future.

Lovely views of the Tor

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesSep 2022

We had a lovely camping stay at this site. We were on pitch 8 which had just the perfect view of the Tor. The space for our tent was large with plenty of room for parking. Toilet facilities were perfect and very clean with warm showers. The campsite cat was an absolute joy and the owner made sure we were comfortable and had all our questions answered. It is worth being mindful that the patch slopes down a little, making tent placement essential if you want a comfortable sleep. It is a little messy with farm odds and sods. Also, the road is very busy and noisy, so bring ear defenders if you feel you may struggle.

Relaxing stay...

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2022

Just got back from a lovely, relaxing 3 nights at Glastonbury Cottages and Caravanning. We stayed in a tent which had a huge pitch (enough for our tent, car and a gazebo) which had stunning views of the Glastonbury Tor. Facilities were good on site. The site was lovely and peaceful, and Edd the owner was lovely and could answer any questions about location etc. The high street is a 5 minute drive, or a 20 minute walk. We will definitely be back!

It is a lovely campsite. Situated at the bottom of the tor and near to Glastonbury town. Walkable. The owners were also lovely and friendly. We would stay again.

Well maintained and clean, a nice small site with lovely owners - friendly and relaxed. Unfortunately, the nearby busy road spoilt the peace and quiet on times. Definitely would go again!

All that Glastonbury has to offer in walking distance

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Touring PitchesJun 2022

Only a small site which we like with the Tor over looking the campsite. Friendly owner. Tor about half an hours walk, same to the shops and pubs Only downside was the paths on main road were narrow. Even though speed limit in some parts was 20 miles per hour, still not very safe and road noise. But we would return again.

Great campsite

Firstly, the site was tidy and the owner was very friendly and helpful. They are obviously working very hard developing and doing the site up. I've only given four out of five stars for the reasons I'll explain below: 1. It was hard to find partly due to the virtually unreadable green and yellow signage on the road front, which the owner said he needs to address. 2. The toilets are a bit open to each other, and in my mind would be improved with internal doors separating the male and female areas a bit more. I want to stress though, that it is a lovely little site and I would recommend it. It's very close to the Tor too. Thanks.

Lovely site with great views

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Touring PitchesFeb 2022

A lovely small site right underneath Glastonbury Tor. Walked up early morning to watch the sunrise from up there. Really easy route, about 25 mins from our front door to the top of the Tor. The site has 5 gravel pitches for vans, all really well laid out with enough space for a side awning. There are 2 loos and 2 showers in each bathroom with a washing up area in between. The facilities were lovely and warm, and very clean. The owner came over shortly after arrival to check that everything was OK, which was nice, and shared the route to the Tor. Chalice Well Gardens are just down the road (12 min walk) and worth a visit. Glastonbury Abbey is about a 30 min walk. The A361 runs past so there's some road noise, although it quietens down at night. The reduced light pollution offered excellent stargazing.

Nice little site, clean and welcoming

Foot of Glastonbury Tor and short walk to Glastonbury. Very clean, only half dozen pitches. Nearby road a bit noisy, but overall good site for price.

Great little campsite

Twin Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Touring PitchesNov 2021

This campsite is perfect for visiting Glastonbury and the surrounding area. 15mins walk from Glastonbury town centre. Use the path round the base of the Tor not the main road foot path as it's narrow and the road is busy. Access to the site is off the main road, Google Maps will try send you down a narrow side road called Ashwell Lane, don't take that! Look out for a green and yellow sign to site. There is road noise to consider on the site, didn't bother us at all. Good clean facilities and helpful pleasant owner of the site. We will return to this campsite.
