Very friendly welcoming with amazing views, ideal for a short stop over. Sadly no shower, but we were aware of that before booking. Nice fire pit in the centre of the field.

Thank you for your comments. We're working on the shower and hope to have it ready soon. 2nd flushing toilet is now installed.

This is a super little campsite with incredibly friendly owners. The location is stunning (dark site) but the facilities are not great (no showers/sinks etc). The toilet is a very posh portaloo. However, if you just want to get away from it all for one or two days, then this is the site for you. Also be aware it is hard to find (no signs until you are next to it). Me and my wife loved it.
Site's response
Thank you for your comments. We are working on the showers and constantly improving our facilities. As a certified site, we are limited to "portable type" not permanent buildings (SCC Council rules). We have a 2nd flushing toilet pod now installed with hot water.
Peaceful site with a friendly welcome and beautiful views

This is such a great site. Small and friendly, with basic facilities but clean and tidy. Lovely views of the surrounding countryside stretching over to the Shropshire Hills, Shrewsbury and the Wrekin in all directions. Hosts Linda and Malcolm gave me the warmest welcome and were so helpful in advising me, as a new camper, where to pitch. The site is so peaceful and calm, and as a solo female camper I really appreciated their awareness of site security, I felt safe all the time. There are easily accessible walks through the woods right by the campsite, and round the neighbouring fields and the hosts are always ready to point you in the right direction. A gem of a site, can't wait to go back again!
Site's response
Now closed for the winter but planning a new season March 1st 24 onward, Tracy. No plans to make our little site bigger, just keep it small and eco cosy.

Beautiful location, very friendly owners. Nice fire place in the centre and a very cosy place to stay. I would have appreciated a place to shower, but the toilet was really clean. No place to walk nearby for the dogs, but a good recommendation from the owner to visit the mountain, The Wrekin (30min drive), very beautiful!
Site's response
The site facilities are highlighted in the booking terms there are no showers at this site. So why book a site without showers if this is your requirement and mark us down? In addition to the adjacent woodland, we offer advice on numerous way paths nearby. We put people and families first and try to make it a safe environment. Unfortunately, some owners of dogs do not respect our control rules.
