A note from the site themselves...

The beauty of the nature reserve brings daily joys, the wildflower meadows alive with butterflies and bees in summer and lizards basking in the sun, fungi, hazel nuts and acorns for the foraging squirrels in autumn, spotting foxes and deer and the smell of wood fires in winter and in spring a carpet of bluebells and the anticipation of the emerging young badgers.

The dream was to create a responsible, sustainable getaway which would cause no harm to the site, surrounding area and this little blue planet that we call home. Now beyond that the site is becoming a place for like -minded people who are fascinating to talk to and a pleasure to host.
