About Hawarden Farm Shop Campsite
Family-fun campsite with plenty to do onsite, ideally located in the North Wales countryside close to Chester and a 20 minute drive to the coast. Choose one of the eight non electric grass pitches or one of the three non electric grass touring pitches, or opt for a quieter location and pitch your tent on one of the two non electric grass tent pitches in the south meadow. The south meadow is a more peaceful field and gives the atmosphere of a micro campsite, as it also has its own camp kitchen. Also in the south meadow are two bell tents for those wanting to avoid the hassle of hammering in tent pegs. There are another eight bell tents in the main field and another three that are on raised wooden platforms with outdoor patio furniture. All of the bell tents have just four camp beds and rechargeable lanterns, meaning you need to bring all your own bedding and linen. Enjoy one of the two weekly guided wild lake swims or join the weekly guided tour of Hawarden Old Castle. There's even arty entertainment and a farm shop onsite for all to enjoy. Dogs are welcome but please keep them on the lead at all times. Please make sure campfires are raised off the ground.
