About Kings Forest Caravan and Camping Park
Owner-managed, Leigh and Jane enjoy being able to share the beautiful location with others. As you drive onto the site, you marvel at the site's location, peace, quiet and tranquility! It's as if you've been transported to another place. The site offers 20 'roomy' electric hook-ups with a separate area for non electric pitches. Large motorhomes and RVs are welcome, as are trailer tents, and roof tents. Set back from the road, the site is known for being a quiet site. It offers adults the opportunity to relax and do whatever they feel like doing, whether it is to watch the horses, which can be seen grazing nearby, go for a walk in the beautiful Kings Forest, look up and watch the swallows, or just do nothing but relax! In the late summer's afternoon, you might catch a glimpse of one of the many herds of Fallow deer from the forest grazing in the hedge-line, or enjoy a sunset in the huge open sky, great for also watching the stars at night. The self catering properties are all a short walking distance away from the caravan park and everyone has quick and direct access to the King's Forest. Wideham View and Forest View holiday homes are 'child friendly', all others are adults only. Each accommodation has its own parking space outside for one car, and additional parking is available onsite. Duvets and pillows are supplied but guests should bring their own linen and towels as it is not included in the stay, alternatively, you can arrange to hire a linen pack for a small charge. All number of dogs are welcome in the caravan park and must remain on a lead at all times.
The Caravan Park, Holiday Homes, Glamping Pods and Lodges are open from 1st April to 31st October.

Things to do on site and in the Bury St Edmunds area
If you feel like leaving the retreat of Wideham to explore then there is something for everyone.
The Anglo Saxon Centre and Country Park is just opposite, with Lackford Lakes and the Suffolk Wildlife Centre just a few minutes drive away - and Fullers Mill Gardens within a good 10 minute walk.
Further afield you can explore the medieval town of Bury St Edmunds, with its Abbey Gardens, the Cathedral or museum on the market place , or maybe enjoy some retail therapy at the Arc Shopping Centre.
The racing town of Newmarket is close by (the racecourse and Jockey Club Museum are well worth a visit), as are the old picturesque towns of Lavenham and Long Melford. There is plenty to do and your hosts, Leigh and Jane, are always at hand to ask for recommendations.
