This family friendly park is only a quick 5 minutes from the beach, set close to the southern end of the Snowdonia National Park and so perfect for accessing both seaside and countryside. Tynllwyn Caravan and Camping Park is close to good fishing spots, surrounded by natural beauty and dog friendly. The Talyllyn Railway runs past the park - a well preserved narrow gauge steam railway - and will be a huge hit with all the family!

Set less than three miles from the coastal town of Tywyn, the park is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Talyllyn Narrow Gauge Railway runs past the site with Rhydyronnen Station 50 yards away. Aberdyfi is also around seven miles from Tynllwyn, with sandy beaches, water sports and crab fishing from the jetty. Level pitches are set on grass and welcome both tents and tourers. Electric is available, along with several hardstanding pitches with electric. A selection of static caravans are also available to hire for family breaks - and these are also dog friendly.

Stroll 50 yards from site to the narrow gauge railway station and it's all aboard for a fun day out!

You can walk to the local ice cream parlour for a treat on a hot day and feel like you've earnt your reward.

And your next stop should be sandy beach just three miles from site, which is a hit with surfers - and it's also possible to try other water sports there. Sections of the beach welcome dogs all year round while a dog ban is in place in some parts too.
