With easy access to Exmouth's golden sand beaches, as well as the rest of the Devon coasts, Browns Farm is sure to provide something for tourers and campers. This family-run the site adjoins a 14th century working farm and farmhouse. The three acre level access site has both grass and hardstanding pitches, all of which back onto hedgerows for some tranquillity and privacy. A great base for exploring Devon's lovely coastlines.

Stuart was always helpful and welcoming. Site has lovely views and is a quiet sun trap. Minimal noise from the farm and road.

We actually had a motorhome not a small tent. Lovely campsite, we'll be back!

Site is well situated near the southern end of the M5 within easy reach of Exmouth, Exeter and E Devon resorts. Pitches are well spaced and reasonably flat around an open grassy area with water and electric hook-up on-pitch. Both ladies and gents have 2 toilets and 1 shower (40p charge) which are fairly basic and need an update and clean. There is a good washing machine, tumble drier and ironing board, free Wi-Fi and useful info about local buses which call nearby. Good value stay if you are happy to use own shower/toilet.
Site's response
Thank you for your review. Whilst we are happy for customers to use their own facilities should they wish, ours, whilst functional, are in good working order. They are kept clean and both shower units are less than 1 year old. The shower block and laundry facilities are cleaned daily.

Owners meet & greet, just ring the bell to get their attention on the farm. Site is conveniently placed to visit Exeter & Exmouth, situated end of village with a pub & request bus stop. Another village nearby in walking distance along a road but without pavements has shops, pubs & bus stop. Pitches are spacious and cost reasonably for time of year for a motorhome with electric. Facilities clean & tidy, hot showers cost 40p in meter, change is available in honesty box, run for sufficient time to wash.

Very well kept and friendly small site on a working farm. Location is perfect for access to all the local places to see including Exmouth, Sidmouth, Beer, Budleigh Salterton etc. The pub in the village is great and dog friendly, and it's a 15 minute walk away mostly without a footpath but well worth it. Will definitely be visiting again.

We really liked this campsite. It was nice and quiet, although there were some cows mooing for a while in the barn adjacent to the site. The grass was short and there were no grass clippings to carry into your unit. The facilities were good, though a little dated. We didn't mind paying 40p for the shower because the nightly charge was so reasonable. It was a very pretty site with a farm shop and a good pub within walking distance. We will return for a longer stay.

Stayed for 4 nights. Is a working farm and the people who own it are very helpful and nice people. If you want a nice quiet base, out of the hustle of a large commercial park, where you can relax with no stress after a day out, then this is perfect. Toilets and showers are basic but very clean.

We wanted a quiet place to see how our pup would behave. It was amazing, great facilities and exactly what we were looking for. The only thing is that there was a little misunderstanding on site, and we didn't end up with our electric pitch.

Campsite was perfect for what we wanted. Diggers Rest was great for dinner as well, with great bar staff. Would recommend both.

Very satisfied with our stay. We had to call a few times before arriving with some amendments and everybody we spoke to was very kind, polite and very happy to help. The site itself is very lovely, 3 toilets which is great if you're camping with a tent and children!! Beautiful starry skies at night and very quiet with the exceptional cow moo, which was entertaining for the children so it is a win all round! Definitely back again 👍

Lovely site, with nicely spaced out pitches, each backing onto hedgerow. Clean facilities, I gave 4 stars for facilities as the shower cubicle was very small and I had to squeeze myself and 2 children in there. Location was perfect and easily accessible to a lot of places, lovely pub nearby with good food. Nice small site that doesn't get too noisy, we really enjoyed our weekend.

Lovely small site, close to Exeter and Killerton house and gardens. The Wi-Fi was very good. Stuart was very friendly and helpful, made us feel welcome. We would definitely use this site again, just what we like small, quiet, clean facilities and friendly staff. We had an excellent breakfast at Greendale farm shop.

Booked this campsite the morning of our stay without doing any research at all. We had a lovely stay here. The campsite is on the outskirts of a lovely village. It was a fab place to stay well looked after. It was nice to hear the birds chirping away. Nice walk to the pub. The owner was friendly and helpful.
