This hilltop site is only suitable for caravans, campervans and motorhomes, with over 80 hardstanding pitches and electric hook up (16 amp) on offer. About Broadings Farm Caravan Site and Holiday Cottages
Broadings Farm Caravan Site and Cottages is a family run farm on the outskirts of Whitby, five minutes from the bustling town. The peaceful setting is surrounded by breathtaking countryside, yet conveniently close to the local park and ride service, only five minutes walk up the road, and on a bus route accessible in the opposite direction. This charming site welcomes caravans, campervans, and motorhomes only. Spanning over three fields, visitors are free to choose their own pitch. All of the pitches are hardstanding, with room at the side for an awning, all are complete with a 16 amp electric hook-up, and water access nearby, ensuring guests enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay. Awnings are permitted but must be attached to the vehicle at all times and supported by guy ropes, including the "driveaway" type. The site is dog-friendly, and guests are encouraged to bring their four-legged family friends and a large open dog walking area. Please ensure they are kept on a lead, and any mess is cleaned up accordingly. Please note, tents are not permitted due to the hilltop location and unpredictable weather.

Site rules and policies
1. Persons responsible for the booking must provide valid ID.
2. We accept payment with recognised debit/credit card (Visa, Master-card and Maestro)
3. Deposits are non-refundable or transferrable in the event of any person or persons cancelling a booking or bookings at Broadings Farm Caravan and Motor-Home Site. Broadings Farm has no obligation to refund in the event of business disruption of any kind.
4. Payment for the pitch is in advance, on arrival and is non-refundable.
5. Bookings will not be accepted from all male/female parties or group bookings (3 or more) without prior consultation from reception.
6. Admission is by permission of the owners or their representatives only. No person under the age of 18 is allowed to caravan unless accompanied by a responsible adult 21 plus years. All persons under the age of 18 years are the sole responsibility of the accompanying parent/adult and should be supervised at all times.
7. Broadings farm will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to the property of the guest, including personal belongings, cash, jewellery, laptops, tablets, mobile phones and motor vehicles, however caused during their stay. You are responsible for keeping your belongings safe.
8. Children under 5 years must be supervised at all times. Young children must be supervised in the toilet/shower blocks.
9. Awnings must be attached at all times, (tents of any kind will be asked to take down) and groundsheets must be of the breathable type.
10. Chemical toilet waste and grey wastewater must be emptied in the receptacles provided, located next to the toilet and shower blocks and not on the caravan pitch.
11. All litter and refuse must be disposed of in the receptacles provided at the main entrance and by the top caravan field.
12. Parking touring caravans pitches one car per pitch permitted (unless prior permission agreed)
13. Broadings farm welcome well behaved pets on site, in the interest of safety and comfort we ask that pets are kept on a lead at all times, and that pet owners are respectfully asked to ensure any mess is cleaned up and noise kept to a minimum. Owners of any pets acting aggressively or being a nuisance, (barking etc), will be asked to leave the site.
14. Open fires and log burners are not permitted. Barbeques must be attended at all times and are the full responsibility of guests. BBQs must be raised off the floor to protect the grass. Disposable BBQs to be disposed of in the correct waste receptacle by the top caravan field.
15. The possession and use of firearms of any description, catapults, metal detectors and the like are strictly forbidden
16. Strictly no Gazebos, tents of any kind or Chinese lanterns.
17. No ball games, cycling, skateboarding or roller skating etc. near reception or the shower blocks.
18. Radios, TVs and music players are permitted but must be used in an audible manner so as not to cause nuisance disturbance to other site users, and not after 10.30pm.
19. The use of foul language, threatening behaviour or vandalism will not be tolerated and as a consequence all members of a party will be asked to leave and no refund will be given.
20. Please park cars in the yard if arriving back on site after 11.00pm.
21. To ensure the quiet enjoyment of the site at night, parents/guardians are requested to ensure that those under the age of 18 are back to their units by 10.30pm and to reduce all noise levels by 11.00pm. QUIET PLEASE 11pm - 6am.
22. The company reserve the right to require all members of your party to leave site where such persons breach the terms set out in the conditions of the site rules. The company reserves the right to refuse admission to the park. In such circumstances no refund will be given.
23. Broadings is a working farm; please do not enter any farm building that is not a designated part of the caravan and motor-home site.
24. For site safety a 5mph speed limit must be adhered to at all times.
25. Please be aware there is no lighting on the site at night (take extra care in low light conditions) please use own source of light, torches etc.
26. Broadings farm will not accept responsibility for any loss of foodstuffs due to power disruption.
27. All persons in your party are your responsibility. Please ensure these terms and conditions are adhered to. Adults to explain all relevant points to your children.

The town's sandy beaches, charming harbour, and beautiful coastal walks make it a perfect destination for those seeking a relaxing break From the iconic Whitby Abbey, to the cobbled streets lined with independent shops, restaurants, and cafes, Whitby has something to offer everyone.
For those that like to walk or cycle, there is a shortcut into the town, which is a lovely little woodland walk, taking you away from the busy road, also leading to the Cinder track, which consists of a cycle track and beautiful area where you can walk as far as Robin Hoods Bay!
