About Stanmore Hall Touring Park
It's the best of both worlds here, as your base is only one hour from the thriving centre of Birmingham with its retail haven, The Bull Ring, but also handy for the lush beauty of the Black Country. This peaceful lakeside park with its charming conservatory makes for an ideal spot to unwind from the bustle of modern life. Stanmore Hall's 38 hardstanding pitches and 42 grass pitches all offer 16-Amp electric and a digital TV connection. There are even a set of super pitches which add water and grey waste disposal connections. Alongside family friendly pitches there is an adults only section on the park for extra peace and quiet . Things to do on site and in the Bridgnorth area
Bridgnorth has an interesting history as a busy port town and is today divided into two halves, with the fun of a Victorian funicular railway to bring you between High Town and Low Town.
Up high, you get lovely views of the River Severn and over this charming market town with its intertwining streets.
There are pretty churches, castle ruins and a 1930s cinema to explore, along with the nostalgia of a ride on an authentic steam train which chugs off towards Kidderminster, making many picturesque stops along the way. Have a walk around or head to a local fishing spot to relax and dangle your rod in the water.
Don't miss a day out at Ironbridge Gorge, a UNESCO site, which boasts a fantastic array of museums.
