VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass PitchesSep 2024

Site exactly as described, with the experience being made by the hosts. Site was clean and well maintained, Reception couldn't have been better. Wonderful stay, couldn't rate more highly for folk looking for a more remote, less commercial site.

Great location, simple facilities

Motorhome - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

We stayed one night with our motorhome on an non-electric grass pitch. The location is definitely great - scenic landscape, historic airfield and just one step away from the Coastal Path between Perranporth (4.5 mi / 2 h walk) and St. Agnes (2 mi / 45 min walk) with Cligga head and St. Agnes Beacon in short reach. Facilities are quite simple and electric pitches are not available, but this is properly communicated and prices reasonably account for this, so it was a perfect site for our one-night stopover. Campsite is very quiet, but airtraffic may exist. However, we had only one takeoff and landing during the day we stayed there.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

We chose this campsite as it was in a convenient location to do the Car Chase Heroes experience. The pitch was flat and spacious and we had a nice view towards the sea. Booking and check-in were straight forward. The site is right next to the airfield with regular departures of helicopters and planes. We weren't bothered by the noise and it was restricted to sensible times (i.e. not too early or late), but if you like a super quiet site, this isn't the place for you. The facilities let down this site. There was no toilet roll at one point in one of the two ladies loos and no soap in either. Not sure what the state of the men's was. The showers were hit and miss depending on which one you used.
