Surrounded by 300 acres of pine forest Forest Glade offers level sheltered camping and touring pitches, camping pods and holiday caravans for hire. Popular with both couples and families there is plenty to do, from forest walks to swimming, tennis and pool. The park's location on the Blackdown Hills is ideal as a base for exploring the Jurassic Coast, Exmoor and Dartmoor - and within easy reach of Exeter and Taunton.
About Forest Glade Holiday Park
This family-owned and run park is in a forest clearing with well-kept level grounds and beech hedge screening. It's nestled on the Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in rural mid Devon, not far from the Somerset border. One of the main attractions is the 300 acres of pine forest surrounding the park which offers lovely walks with country views. As well as a wealth of bird life you can catch a glimpse of shy deer in this setting. The 26 acre site has 80 touring pitches including 40 hardstandings and 4 fully serviced pitches. There is also a separate camping field for those who prefer space and freedom to pitch where they choose, which is open for busy weekends and during the school summer holidays. Cosy camping pods offer a hassle free alternative to camping, with electric and excellent shelter provided. It's the perfect way to travel light and skip the tent. Pets are welcome on all the pitches but sorry, they cannot stay in the pods. If you fancy a getaway with the family or your other half there are 26 holiday caravans available for self-catering holidays. These are all modern, with a selection offering double glazing and central heating. There are also seasonal pitches for touring caravans available.

Things to do on site and in the Cullompton area
There is plenty to do to keep adults and children occupied without leaving the park - swimming in an indoor heated pool with an early morning adults only session, keeping the kids busy on play areas or having a game on the tennis court. Explore the forest or walk to a local pub for lunch.
Why not come and stay and explore this unspoilt and relatively unknown area of Devon? The Blackdown Hills were designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1991 and combine wildlife habitats with living working communities, a unique geology and beautiful landscapes.
There are plenty of walks from the park or why not go further afield and enjoy the wild beauty of Dartmoor or Exmoor. If you like a spot of history there are several National Trust properties nearby as well as a working woollen museum, excellent museums, a tramway and steam railways.
For the family why not spend a day at the beach - Exmouth is a traditional seaside town with lovely sandy beaches, Budleigh Salterton has a pebbly beach and river walks, and Sidmouth is a lovely resort town with rock pools and lots of sandy beach at low tide.
If the weather isn't so good take the family to Crealy Adventure Park or World of Country Life, explore the county towns of Exeter or Taunton, take in a film or go bowling.
You can play golf, fish, have a flight in a glider, jump from a plane wearing a parachute, drive quad bikes, hire bikes to explore the Grand Western Canal or book a Birds of Prey experience, all within a short drive from the park.
The Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site, is a 40-minute drive. Exmoor and Dartmoor are easily accessible from the park as is the cathedral city of Exeter and Somerset's county town, Taunton.
