About Shortlands Farm

A peaceful family friendly campsite perfect for that authentic camping experience, with incredible sea views over St Brides Bay right from your pitch. Within a 15 minute walk, you'll be on the golden sands of the dog friendly Druidston Beach. There are just 24 grass pitches, spread over two fields, with plenty of space for all. Eight of these have 10 amp electric hook-up and allow campervans and motorhomes (no caravans), whilst the other 16 don't have electric and allow tents, and smaller campervans only. There are also five electric grass pitches for tourers only reserved exclusively for members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club. Whether you're looking to swim, sunbathe, take part in some watersports or walk the Pembrokeshire Coast Path (located at the end of a bridleway from the farm), this is a great base for exploring West Wales and all the delights of Pembrokeshire. Campfires are permitted in fire pits that are raised off the ground so as to not damage the grass. The site allows dogs to stay, just please keep them on the lead at all times.

Shortlands Farm is open from 01/05 to 30/09 in 2024 and from 01/05 to 28/09 in 2025.

A note from the site themselves...

Druidston is such a special place.

Off the beaten track, but within easy reach of all the wonders that Pembrokeshire has to offer, Shortlands Farm Campsite is a true gem within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

Waking up to the sea view, and kicking back to watch the stunning sunsets over the sea are what coastal camping is all about. Clear skies and no light pollution means the night sky is a wonder to behold - a million miles from city life!

Shortlands Farm is a peaceful site that limits its impact on the local environment, and will be enjoyed by young and old alike for years to come.

Large A-class or Tag Axle Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches (Member Only)Sep 2024

The weather had been predicted to be atrocious, the rest of the southern UK were suffering floods but we decided to carry on with our tour of west Wales beaches. The site was quiet, only 10 others around while we were there. The views are fantastic, the walks are lovely as is the Druidstone Haven beach. The pitches are spaced well apart and the layout of the pitches is a really positive feature of the site. The toilets and showers were clean and all working perfectly. The footpath to the coast was flooded and extremely difficult to walk along but that was due to the extreme rainfall over the period of our stay. Normally it wouldn't be like that. It hasn't put us off and we will be back for sure.

The best view!

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches (Member Only)Sep 2024

The campsite was located overlooking a stunning bay, down a bit of a bumpy lane but no problem if you drive carefully. Massive, flat and level field which allowed great size pitches. The shower block was clean and showers were nice and hot. A hairdryer might be a nice addition. Everything else you need is there. Very peaceful site, didn't see the owners at all but knew how to get hold of them if there were any issues, which there wasn't. Very happy and enjoyed our stay.
