About Hendwr Caravan Park
This family and dog friendly site is the ideal location for relaxing in the peaceful Welsh countryside, just a stone's throw from the River Dee. Whether you're going away with the family, or on a Duke of Edinburgh expedition, this is a great spot on the edge of Snowdonia National Park. The site welcomes tents and tourers, along with having seasonal pitches for static tourers and caravans. Each of the grass tent and touring pitches comes with a 16 amp electric hook up, perfect for bringing those extra home comforts like a kettle. Many of the camping pitches are also lucky enough to have a picturesque view of the stream which runs through the site, perfect for dogs or children to paddle in. If you're wanting to explore your surrounding, there are many beautiful walking and cycling trails that lead you through the stunning countryside. The site is also located on a farm where you can meet sheep, ewes and cows. Campfires and BBQs are not allowed, sorry. Dogs are welcome onsite.

Things to do on site and in the Corwen area
This site is the ideal location for those who love the outdoors. If fishing is up your street, the River Dee is just across the neighbouring field, here you can catch grayling, trout and salmon. Simply ask at reception and they can put you in touch with Corwen Anglers Association.
You are also in a great spot for both walking and cycling. Situated in the Dee Valley and at the edge of Snowdonia National Park, you are surrounded by picturesque landscapes and miles of trails, perfect for exploring.
Bala Adventure and Watersports Centre (20 minutes) is also the perfect place for a day of fun. Whether you want to hire a boat, try sailing, go gorge walking or even abseil, you can do it all here.
Bala Lake Railway (30 minutes) is a beautiful way to see the stunning Welsh countryside. Sit back and relax whilst you enjoy a nine mile railway journey through the Snowdonia National Park, past lakes and mountains.
