Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesJan 2025

Campsite was very tidy and clean, even with building works happening on site. There are clear instructions on arrival as to who to call etc and campsite rules. We were made to feel so welcome by the owner and the other campers around. The toilets and showers were spotlessly clean, the only downside was no water to the drinkable water and the shower was cold (please keep in mind though, we did book this in winter so this is understandable). The campsite is situated right in the middle of loads of tourist attracts and there is plenty to do all year round. Overall, a really lovely place to spend your time come rain or ice. Would 1000% recommend.

Site's response

Thank you for your lovely feedback, it's great to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Mendip Ski Camp. We're sorry that you had difficulty in getting hot water from the showers. I have investigated further and they are currently running with hot water, so I'm not sure what happened there, but we will monitor them. Thank you for bringing it to our attention and we hope you visit us again in the near future.

Motorhome - Non Electric Grass Motorhome PitchesOct 2024

Received a warm welcome on arrival. We were one of the first to try one of their newly installed hard standing pitches and they were great. Really convenient for the activity centre, lovely quiet site and the facilities were great (lovely powerful shower).

Nice quiet campsite
