Galley Hill Farm Camping is ideally located to explore beautiful beaches and scenery as it is just a mile from the Quay at Blakeney. It is next to a B road so there is some road noise. The campsite is a 20 minute walk from the coastal path along North Norfolk's gorgeous coastline, with the seals at Blakeney Point sure to be a hit with the kids. Spacious grass pitches and a cosy camping pod are perfect for hassle free breaks. Sorry, no dogs.

Had a great couple of days at this lovely little campsite just outside of Blakeney. We had a grass pitch with electric hook-up. Nice and quiet with a few other visitors staying. The only criticism would be in the shower/toilet block. There is one toilet and shower for men, the same for women and then a disabled toilet and shower room. Wasn't too much of an issue the weekend we were there as isn't wasn't busy. However, when the site is busy you may have to wait to use the facilities. Other than that, it was perfect for us to be able to take the short walk into Blakeney without moving our van and explore the surrounding areas on foot.

I'm glad you enjoyed exploring Blakeney Andrew. Thank you for your review.

We had a most enjoyable stay at Galley Hill. Sal was very welcoming. We originally booked for 2 nights but decided to stay another night, which was arranged with Sal. The site is quiet, the shower block very clean and well presented. Blakeney is a short walk away with a lovely pub, fresh fish shop and well stocked Co-op.
Site's response
Thank you for your kind review Jane which is much appreciated. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. Blakeney is a beautiful village and has a Spar shop, together with lots of other useful amenities. Hope to see you again in the future.

Friendly welcome from Sally who runs the site and works hard keeping the facilities absolutely spotless. We had a great week here and would definitely come again. Location is great, especially for walkers. The coast hopper bus service, which runs along the coast road to the various towns and villages along the coast is brilliant. The only downside, which has nothing to do with the site itself, was that if you like to leave your vehicle at the site, it is necessary to walk along the road for a bit before the footpath into the village.
Site's response
Thank you for your review Alan. The Coast Hopper bus is a good service and the free parking at Blakeney Village Hall is also useful. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay.

A nice wee campsite very close to Blakeney. Handy if you fancy a walk up to Blakeney Point, which I did. The sound of the waves on the walk was fabulous. The kings arms in Blakeney was a lovely spot for some drinks and a very large fish and chips.
Site's response
Thank you for your kind review David. Blakeney is a beautiful village and the scenery at Blakeney Point is stunning. Glad you enjoyed your stay.

This site sets the standard that all should follow! With a great mix of campers in tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans all are catered for in a simple manner. The toilet/shower blocks are immaculate. A smashing owner and a great location.
Site's response
Thank you so much for your kind review Adam. I'm delighted you enjoyed your stay. Just to clarify, the caravans are on a separate field, which is for members of the Caravan & Motorhome Club. Blakeney is a beautiful area and I do hope you come and see us again in the future.

Lovely and clean facilities and a perfect size just on the outskirts of Blakeney with only a 5 minute walk into the village and the small harbour, pubs and shops. Great for coastal path walks and a short week away from everything. Also a superb and friendly host!
Site's response
Thank you Ian for your kind comments which are much appreciated. Our campsite is a mile from Blakeney Quay, so it's about a 20 minute walk to the village. Glad you enjoyed your stay.

We loved camping here, our first time camping with a toddler and Sal was incredibly accommodating lending us chairs and other things that we forgot/couldn't fit in the car. The site was clean, friendly and in a great location. We loved it.

Lovely site, nice and quiet. Facilities were really clean. Owner, Sal, is very welcoming, we received a message the day before to tell us which pitch we had been allocated and Sal came to met us once we had settled in. Site is great as a base location.

Had a lovely stay here. Sal was so welcoming and the facilities were the cleanest we've ever stayed at. In an excellent location, just outside Blakeney for days at the coast and inland exploring too. This is a nice, small site and considering this was a weekend in the school holidays, the other campers were very quiet. Thank you Sal for a lovely weekend!
Site's response
Thank you for your very kind comments, Wendy. I'm glad you enjoyed your holiday at the campsite and exploring the beautiful area around Blakeney. It was a pleasure having you stay.

Lovely, clean campsite, pitch sizes are good. Not really near too much, so had to drive everywhere. Near to the RAF base, so was kept awake by planes training. Although not the owners fault, was a little frustrating at times. Only 1 toilet and a family toilet, which was a downside for us, although these were kept clean throughout the day. Owners came over to say hi and bye, which was a lovely touch. Can not fault the site for the price.
Site's response
Thank you for your review Christine. The planes do come over from time to time, some people like them, other people don't. The campsite is a mile from Blakeney, which is a beautiful village. Sorry you didn't feel there was much to do around here.

Sal has a great setup here, and is a great host. Ideal for families with younger children We stayed for three nights, and booked here partly because of the 9:30pm quiet time as well as the location. As all other comments have shared, the toilets / showers were immaculate, and Sal was helpful and chatty, with suggestions of the local area and helping us get the most out of our camping trip. The site is as described - simple, traditional camping, which worked great for being offline and playing with the kids in the large field. We played football and frisbee, and others were doing the same but there was plenty of space and we never got in each others way (both kids thought it was the best thing about the holiday, to have this space). We ate at Blakeney House on Sunday dinner time, which did great roasts - higher end dining for £20-24 per roast. The only point to note is the road along one side of the field, as cars tended to drive past quickly in the evening making noise, but by 10pm all was quiet along the country road, and we slept very well (with a bonus treat of an 8am start one morning as it was so quiet!). We'd stay again, for sure!
Site's response
Thank you for your kind review, which is much appreciated, Paul. With the campsite being next to a road, you are quite right there is some road noise. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and very much hope to see you again.

Myself, friends and our children came for a couple of nights on my experience last year and was not disappointed. Crabbing in Blakeney a 10 minute walk away, lively walks and great food places. It's so reasonably priced that you might expect compromise, but there is none. It's a small, quiet site and it's blooming marvellous.
Site's response
Thank you for your kind comments James. I'm glad you, your friends and children enjoyed your weekend here. The greasy pole is always good fun to watch and I'm pleased you got to experience the traditions Blakeney has to offer.
