A note from the site themselves...

Welcome to Ross Rowing Club, a place rich in history and community spirit. Our story began in the 1870s when the River Wye became a hub for both leisure and competition. From early regattas featuring rowing, coracle races, and even donkey races, to the building of our first clubhouse in 1908, the club has always been a gathering place for people who love the water.

Through wars and changing times, we've grown stronger, adding new facilities and welcoming members from all walks of life. Today, Ross Rowing Club is a vibrant space offering rowing, canoeing, paddleboarding, and camping. Whether you're here to compete, relax, or explore, the river remains at the heart of everything we do.
