Amazing from start to finish. Was myself and two boys. The entertainment was the best, swimming entertainment amazing (floating obstacles course/disco party dancing). So clean and I felt so safe. I did lose my son (5) and everyone came together staff and campers and he was found so quick. Staff were so friendly and always happy to help. Thank you and we will 100% return.

Everything you could possibly need on site, including a beach! We had a lovely time.
It does exactly what it offers and does so very well!

Wasn't sure what to expect, it's a big site, lots of facilities and we're in the school holidays, but that's exactly why we chose this site. The kids loved it and we had a great time. Low capacity on arrival, we were late on arrival and met by a security team, who were put to use on our first night. The capacity soon filled but the site is very well cared for and built to take the capacity. Great walks in the area, super shop on-site, lots to do in local area and would recommend.

A well-presented campsite with easy access to a private single beach and within walking distance to West Bay, and the village of Burton Bradstock. Facilities include two excellent and very clean toilet and shower blocks, complete with separate laundry and washing-up rooms. There is also a well stocked shop onsite that sells absolutely everything you could ever possibly need. Large pitches which can easily accommodate a campervan with a large awning or event tent. If you want peace and quiet, and do not fancy the noise of children, then I recommend booking a pitch on the top field.

Had a great time away in the fantastic place! Beautiful views, friendly staff, very good services and facilities and very convenient location to explore places around the area. Definitely will recommend this holiday park to my family members and friends. Really hope that will have a chance to return again.

Great campsite! We arrived the week before the schools get out - so it was nice and quiet. Beach is fantastic! Outdoor pool also fab - nice and clean and water a lovely temperature. We didn't use the bowling alley but definitely next time! Shower blocks really good - plenty of toilets and showers for everyone. The food in the balcony bar was amazing - I had a nice healthy chicken flatbread and it had loads of lovely salad. Well done guys - we'll definitely come again. Staff all very friendly and helpful.
Fabulous holiday spot!

We stayed here before the Summer Holidays started. It was quite empty during the weeks but fairly full over the weekends. I enjoyed the quieter weeks. I never had to wait for a shower or loo. The facilities were always clean. (The only time I couldn't find a clean shower was during the busy weekend). The terrace bar was great, good beer and lovely food. As it was quiet, we didn't have to wait long. The outdoor pool was wonderful on the hot days we had. Lovely, active lifeguards. The walk to the beach was short, the beach is shingle, which I prefer, and we spent many fun hours there with the kids. The coastal path had amazing views and Bridport itself is a great town with everything you need. Lyme Regis just 20 mins away, which we did a few times. Overall, a great location, good facilities and clean. Personally, I preferred the quieter weeks but my daughter would have preferred more children to play with!

We tried Freshwater for a short camping trip to see if our small child would enjoy it, and we had a lovely time. The food in the restaurant was fantastic, even when it was very busy. We enjoyed the bowling, the pool and slides are amazing for the kids. Great selection of drinks from the bars. The facilities were spotless. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the rain, lol. We can't wait to go back!

Very nice place with lots of activities for kids. Very clean facilities. The best thing I love about this place is that the sea is very close, which made the best impression for me. There are guardians walking all the time and checking if all good, and if someone not passing the rules, they are warning you nicely. I would say it is very safe place.

Great site, very large, very clean with great facilities. Big pool area outdoors but the private beach is amazing for us and our dog. Great site if you have young kids, so we wouldn't visit in school holidays as no doubt would be too busy for us. Would recommend though for private beach, if nothing else.

Fab place for families. Stayed one evening in our campervan. The price included all entertainment, pools and use of all the facilities. Most of the park is dog friendly too, which we found very helpful.

Very nice site. Toilets and showers were spotless every day. The showers were really powerful every day, no matter how many people were in them. The beach is nice but shale. The only bad thing was the Wi-Fi. You couldn't use it, it was so bad. Also, absolutely no signal on EE.

We had a good stay here, the location with the private beach was lovely. We found the facilities functional, with plenty of showers and toilets available, but definitely dated. The on-site facilities were good and not expensive. We were able to have a drink and enjoy the rooftop view of the bay - this was a real winner. The main bar and entertainment reminded me of 'Phoenix Nights', but it fulfils a purpose and wasn't offensive. The location and size of the pitches were good for us and ultimately, we would return if camping in the area in the future.
Lovely, family friendly site

We chose this site as we are foster parents to a five year old boy. The park is set up with younger children in mind and does have an outdoor and indoor pool area. As the weather was sunny, we only used the outdoor facilities, which were perfectly suited to our little boy's needs. The private area of beach is good, however, there has been coastal erosion with some recent collapses of the rock faces. Our pitch was spacious and pretty flat, but there are some pitches that don't really suit a campervan/drive-away awning setup due to sloping ground. All in all, a good site that we would recommend to any young family.
Great facilities and location but pitches very cramped

We loved our stay at Freshwater Beach. The pool was great. The outdoor pool was closed but that looked amazing. Nice shop on site with everything you would need. Great walks and the beach being so close was great. The only thing that let it down for us was the way that all the guests were in the same row when there was so many free pitches available. If we were to stay again then we would definitely request a pitch at the top of the site which was a lot quieter and more spacious.

Very good location good facilities. The only thing that was not excellent was the WiFi. The first night we stayed the park was full so I understand WiFi might not be up to scratch. The following 3 nights the WiFi kept dropping out even though there was only a handful of vans on the site. We had a number of devices that could not connect. Apart from that excellent site and facilities.
Great stay

We stayed at Freshwater for the 1st May bank holiday weekend. After reading other reviews, we decided to stay in the top field, as it was supposed to be quieter than the main field. I don't know if the main field was noisy at night, but it is located next to the pool, entertainment, bar etc. The top field, which is only a couple of minutes walk from the entertainment, was certainly quiet though. Even though it was busy due to the bank holiday, by 10pm there was almost no noise other than a few whispers going to and from the toilet block. The site is well looked after, shower block and toilets were all very clean. Our tent was at the far end of the field, a bit too far to go for those middle of the night toilet dashes, so we took a toilet tent with us, which we were so grateful for. We didn't get to use the pool, which we were a bit gutted about. You can book an hour's swim session with slots becoming available 24 hours before. They are snapped up quickly. There's a heated outdoor pool, not sure if that uses the same booking system. Or there's the massive pool next to the beach, which you definitely don't need to book, if you don't mind salt water ;) We ate in the restaurant, the sun terrace is a lovely touch. The food was lovely but service, for us, was very slow! The shop is very well stocked. Kids loved the arcades. The entertainment looked brilliant for the younger ones, we popped our heads in and it looked very interactive and the bar was full of guests! The football pitch was an absolute winner for our boys. And the beach is so pretty (take water shoes if you're going in for a dip as it's shingle). Overall, a very nice site in a lovely location.

Lovely site. Everyone was so friendly but not sure if we will return as we felt it was so noisy. Such a shame.

Very impressed and certainly value for money. Looked at this site as a last minute booking but so glad we did now. Whilst it's a massive site, it is very clean and well managed. Lovely walk to the beach and great views across the Channel. Staff very polite and lovely pools. Will certainly return.
