Nice pretty site. Only gripe was light in shower kept switching off. Staff met us on arrival, very pleasant man.

We stayed for two nights as a stop over on our way to Cornwall. The weather was hot which made it even more pleasant. We have a dog and he loved the dog walking area as it had a stream to cool off in. The shower block was a converted farm barn and was clean and adequate for our short stay.

This was our second time staying at this site, it ticks all the boxes, certainly recommend this site. Very friendly owners and staff, well kept and clean facilities. I would also recommend The Rock Inn, just down the road, where the food was very good, and within walking distance.

Waterrow offers a beautiful site with a private walk alongside a river through woodland. It also has an enclosed paddock perfect for some dog exercise. Dogs are to remain on leads on the rest of site which is great. Facilities were clean and the whole site was tidy. We and our dogs enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

This was our first time using our campervan. Unfortunately, we had to leave a day earlier, but would definitely return. It is a superb site, we absolutely loved it.

Very nice site but is in the middle of nowhere, which may suit your needs but was a bit quiet for us. Facilities good and plenty of information for walks and activities. Good if you have a car, but we're not that adventurous in the motorhome on the narrow roads.

A lovely stay at Waterrow. A tranquil and peaceful site for a much needed rest. Hosts were just lovely and attentive on arrival. Pitches were lovely and a credit to the ground staff for their hard work in keeping the site looking as good as it does. Some great walks via the site and overall, very pleased with our stay.
Lovely site, shame about the service received

Lovely park, in a beautiful part of the country. The facilities are excellent, however everything is to one side if the campsite. Showers and toilets are spacious, and very clean. Didn't need the wash up or washing, but did look very user friendly. Pitches are nice and big. The only downside, which unfortunately ruined it for us, is we requested a pitch near the facilities as my partner has mobility issues. We were put in the furthest pitch possible, and there were at least 2 or 3 pitches near the facilities that never were occupied. Not sure if deliberate to ignore the request, but it is heart-breaking to see my partner struggling to go for a shower.

First time stay, very enjoyable despite the weather and nightmare journey to the site. I would strongly advise that you read the site advice of routes to take and those to avoid, and set your Sat-Nav accordingly. I have a Motorhome Sat-Nav and, for the first time ever, it still took us up single track lanes as there were no width restrictions evident. Dog walking on site limited for active dogs, like a Border Collie and the like, but off site, these are close at hand. There are walks, albeit on a lead. Site has concept of most pitches adding privacy by partition hedgerows.

My husband and myself have just returned from a lovely stay at Waterrow adults only campsite where we had a chilled few days there. The gates to the campsite close at 5pm and, as we had mentioned when booking that we would be later than that time, we did not expect to see anyone upon arrival to meet us, but we were pleasantly surprised as a lovely gentleman came over to greet us and show us where our pitch was. The site is immaculate, well laid out with good sized pitches, which are spread out so you don't feel on top of your neighbours. Our dog loved the dog enclosure and especially the corner pond. We loved sitting listening to the birds with a cheeky wine. We will definitely be returning. Can't recommend this site enough.

Absolutely fantastic stay! The facilities were plentiful and spotless. The park is so well-maintained with lovely walks nearby! All campsites should be like this - adults only, just perfect! Nothing negative to say. We hope to be back again!

Nice campsite, but we got a spot right on the road and that was not nice. You heard every car that passed by. I thought the price was very high. Owner was very helpful and very friendly. (Translated from Dutch)

A lovely site in a part of England we'd never been to before. All facilities were available, clean and functional. Perfect - as were the staff! The local walks were wonderful, the value-for-money guide available from the site was very helpful. Only niggle was a neighbouring camper who seemed to be doing DIY at 07:30/07:45 in the morning, tapping away with a hammer. We were leaving anyway, he just made sure we were up and away earlier! Thank you, we had a lovely stay and will return.

Brilliant site, beautifully tended and cared for. Lovely walks from the site. Everything you need is there and main bonus is no children.
