Riverside is a 5 star family-friendly park with award winning facilities, on the gateway to Exmoor and the North Devon coast. It's nestled just south of the Dunkery and Horner Wood National Nature Reserve, with plenty of stunning walks to explore. The site is pet friendly too and includes fishing lakes and a top notch bar and a restaurant. With electric grass pitches, hardstanding pitches and static caravans, there's plenty of options for all.

Excellent campsite with all the facilities you could require for a stress free break. Large open spaces to exercise dogs and lovely river walks. Highly recommended.

We would recommend this site. Only downside, it's quite a distance from a convenience store so make sure to get groceries in while you're out visiting. Lovely clean place. Beautiful grounds and lakes. Dog loved it and lovely for the kids.

Highly recommend this campsite. We camped one night and are already looking at re-booking. Great facilities, very clean, staff are really helpful and the restaurant food is amazing. My young boys also enjoyed the park and playing in the stream, so a great place for the whole family.

Great campsite. Quiet, friendly and scrupulously clean, best shower and toilet facilities I’ve seen on a campsite. Fishing lakes are a nice feature and a little river to cool off in. Super food and bar for the evening if you can’t be bothered to cook.

Great site, lots of space, nice toilet/shower block. The club house was nice but lacked atmosphere. At breakfast time it was like eating in a library, but the food was good

We stayed here for the jubilee weekend, it’s the first time we’ve been and we’ll definitely be back! The kids loved playing in the river!

Wow 🤩 what a lovely campsite. Super large pitch with great facilities. A river running through which kept the kids entertained all weekend. Everywhere really clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay here in South Molton. We had plenty of field space so weren't on top of each other, and it was quiet and clean. We did a trip to Valley of the Rocks which I recommend, and there's plenty within 1hr driving distance to do.
Fantastic and family friendly

Great site, lovely family feel. Shame about some folk who can't follow the rules and let their dogs run riot! Dogs on leads are to help everyone not hinder. Toilets need more regular cleaning. Apart from that fab place! You can hear cars on the main road which is obvious! Take ear plugs!
Really enjoyed it

Only stayed for one night as we were on a road trip. We had a meal in the restaurant which was lovely, very big site so wasn't crowded. The only downside (and was quite a major thing for me) is that the cleaner was in the ladies toilet block from 8.15 until 9.15, wouldn't let anyone in (even to quickly use the loo, when you've waited all night to go!) and this was so inconvenient as I needed to shower and get back on the road. An elderly lady on crutches in front of me was told to walk to the other block (which was quite a way from where we were) to use the loo. I found the woman very rude and it spoiled my stay.

The pitches were well spaced out. Our fully serviced pitch was tarmac & large gravel - not very suitable for an awning and the necessary pegs!
Would definitely come back

We came for a long weekend break out of season. The all-weather pitches are great, especially as the weather was dire - no grassy or muddy footprints in the van! A lovely, massive site with fabulous walks for us and the dog, great for kids too. The clubhouse was quiet due to the time of year but the staff were friendly and the facilities were spotless and well kept. Would we come back? Most definitely.
Nice, well set up site

Easy check in and our pitch was very good, being slightly raised and serviced. The washing/toilet block was kept clean and worked well - the only downside was push button showers. There is a lovely club house on site serving a good range of drinks all day, breakfast each day and limited evening meals (it was January). The local town is a 20 - 30 minute walk with a couple of pubs and restaurants, would recommend the Town Arms - a proper pub and zest restaurant. Only problem at the moment is the turn off the main road which has roadworks, causing you to drive past the turn to the next roundabout and come back.
