An excellent, well maintained site. Nothing was too much trouble and any issues dealt with quickly... A very friendly site. We will definitely be back.

Stayed here in a campervan with a friend. Great campsite, very friendly and would look to bring the family. Walked into Paignton, which was a bit of a trek on foot, but there is a bus service I believe.

Great stay at this lovely site. Our 2 year old loved playing in the outdoor pool, which was surprisingly warm for the UK! Plenty of space, nice clean facilities and the bar/restaurant served good beer and food! Short drive to lots of beaches too!

Our first visit to Devon in 30 years. Handy bus stop near the campsite. Was good that site has food and a pub, because it's a bit remote. Ladies toilets are excellent, but showers need refurbishing.

Lovely site. You have to pay to use indoor pool but outside pool and bubble pool are free, albeit a little cold for being heated, but nice once in. Pool needs cleaning out regularly throughout the day. Shower block needs a bit of modernization as you have to hold shower button in to get water. The toilet and sink facilities are more modern. Very clean tidy toilet showers and site. Good washing up area. Dining experience was lovely.
Booked a second holiday whilst we were there

A pleasant site but lacking in character. Facilities excellent. Very clean all the time. Hot water in the showers 5*, roomy cubicles & powerful jets with long running times. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Would've liked to use the outdoor pool. It was closed but looked very tempting. Enjoyable walk from the back of the site into Stoke Gabriel and back.
Nice quiet campsite

Arrived at 5.20 pm - rang ahead to say we would be later than 5 and was informed to head to the swimming pool. We were given our pitch number, we then spent nearly an hour looking for our pitch. The lighting was not very good, and it wasn't clear or easy to find the numbering. Fortunately, another camper helped us find our pitch. Maybe in daylight we may have been able to get our bearings better. The views are stunning, and location is very convenient. Great indoor swimming pool, although we had to pay extra to use it when we have already paid to stay. We felt it should have been included like other campsites we have stayed at, which have been many. Clean toilets and showers. Would recommend to lots of other campers and families and would like to stay again.

Nice, clean place to go. Good WIFI coverage. TV a little hit and miss and access in and out of the site is on the main road. Worth the visit. Thankyou.
Will definitely be going back

Great campsite. We will definitely be going back. Facilities were great but a real shame that the toilet and shower blocks let it down. Really not good, but everything else was great.

Lovely site, clean and tidy, good facilities. Didn't get a chance to try the outside pool, but it looked lovely and was surprisingly warm to the hand. Tried the indoor pool which costs extra and for us, was just a bit too cold - probably fine for keen swimmers though. Pleasant surroundings, easy bus ride into Paignton, 20-minute walk to Stoke Gabriel with its 2 pubs and a great coffee shop on the River estuary. We will be back :-)

The pitch we stayed on had a slope, even with high chocks for our campervan it still wasn't level.

This is a super campsite for exploring the area. Very dog friendly site with a big secure field for the dogs to run free. All staff were helpful and friendly- thanks to all especially to Chris on entertainment! Never did win on bingo or the quiz, but good fun trying! Will be back!

We booked a last minute, 3 night camping trip. From start to finish, we couldn't have been happier. Friendly staff showed us to our pitch, with close walking distance to all facilities. We started our break after setting up with an outdoor swim. The pool and splash areas were amazing and the kids really enjoyed it. We then went to the local shop to gather supplies. Upon returning, we had dinner and then attended the evening entertainment. Whilst queuing for this, the kids had a brief play in the soft play area. Both our 2 and 5 year old loved this. The kids entertainment was brilliant, especially Harriett, who honestly was amazing, not only at the entertainment, but with the kids, the bingo and performing - what great voice. Day 2, we popped out to Paignton beach which is a short drive from the site and then returned for a swim in the indoor pool. This was only £9.50 for the 4 of us, although I believe this is included if you are in a lodge or chalet. The indoor pool was warm and the changing facilities were beautiful and very clean, tidy and the staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming. We then headed back to the tent before again heading down for the evening entertainment. It was again brilliant and both kids had a blast. Our 5 year old was extremely happy to have won a musical bumps game. Also, the local Devon rock craft beer and Devon cove pale ale was lovely and we would highly recommend. Kids then had a play in soft play before heading back to the tent for an early night. Day 3 was pool party day. We all had such a great laugh and the entertainment team were fab and really fun and engaging with all age groups. During the pool party, we ate from the Hayloft Hatch for lunch and we had a large pepperoni pizza and large chips, which was more than enough to feed us, a family of 4 and was only £15.50 which we think was real value for money. The pizza was the cheesiest pizza and I definitely recommend eating here. We also had an ice cream each which was only £8.80 and very delicious - I recommend the banana and the Nutella. Then after a trip back to the tent for dinner etc. we headed to the craft club. My daughter chose the pocket money craft and then with her brother, decorated a wooden bird and had a glitter tattoo and 2x dinosaur tattoos which only cost £2.50, which the kids were really happy with. We then attended the evening entertainment and had a blast again. Lots of games and entertainment for all the family. My partner and daughter took part in a dance game and won a bottle of red wine (great to drown the holiday blues). Bingo was great fun, with a line winning £50 and house winning £200. Unfortunately, we didn't win, but still had great fun. We stuck around for the Jubilee Reunited and we were so pleased. They were outstanding both Chris and Dave (the keyboard guy) were amazing. Had they now not retired, we would want them at our wedding. The ladies were awesome too, such great voices. Watching the happiness and smiles on our daughters face as she just couldn't help but dance was amazing. Honestly, what a great evening to end our holiday. Last day/morning, we woken up by an extremely annoying, big seagull. This was the only bad thing of our trip, so can't complain, although I'm sure some do. Once packed up, at the kids request we went and explored the woodland area. They loved it and really enjoyed the park play area and the trim trail wooden climbing section. After this, they went on the bouncy castle free of charge and had a blast, before one last trip to the shop for souvenirs. 4 postcards for a £1. We were hoping to grab a scone before leaving, but we had to hit the road as they weren't available until 12. Again, the lovely staff recommended a wonderful local farm shop on our route home. Would massively recommend Whitehall Country Park. Both us and the kids wish we had booked a longer stay and will definitely be coming back next year, but next time might try a lodge.

The place is fantastic, and the location is fantastic - close to everywhere you would need and want to go. Only complaint would be that the toilet and shower block needs updating. The hand dryers barely worked at all, only 3 showers and they were mostly unclean during my stay.
Definitely recommend

What a fabulous stay we've had, just over a week and not one thing to complain about. Pool area is beautiful, went in the new indoor pool and it was fabulous - the facilities are top notch. So very relaxed and well looked after. Would definitely recommend a stay here, well done Whitehill x
