We really enjoyed our stay at this excellent site. Staff are great and the pricing is very reasonable and way less than the big club sites. It will be our first choice when we are back in the area.

Stayed for 2 nights, staff were very helpful and the site was in a great location with picturesque views. On site shop and café was handy and the pizzas on Saturday night were tasty!
What a relaxing place!

We booked for my husband and I for our 40th birthday for a relaxing getaway without the kids. We stayed in the ‘Owl’ pod and from start to finish our stay was so lovely. From the little touches left in our pod (hot chocolate, popcorn and even a birthday card!) to the welcome we received on arrival, we couldn’t recommend Catgill highly enough. The cabin and hot tub are so relaxing and well stocked, it even has a posh coffee machine!! We will be visiting again. Thank you!

A really lovely site. Nice spot. Just the right size. Good facilities. The best thing though was the staff: Friendly & welcoming. Professional & helpful. We’d definitely like to come back for a longer stay.
Limited number of flat or close to flat pitches

We accept the topography of the pitches but if it had been busy we would have been sleeping on a significant slope. Staff helpful in moving us to an alternative and flatter pitch (levelling blocks did the rest). The electric hook up was faulty, we had to use a hook up 25 meters away. Staff did come to help but suggested it was our lead when in fact by using the other hook up, it was all solved.

Lovely campsite, friendly and informative staff. Great facilities, very clean. Tasty pastries for breakfast and Bolton Abbey is a short walk away. We will camp here again.
Noisy guests meant a sleepless night

The campsite itself was fine. Close to Bolton Abbey. The staff were nice. The washroom and toilet blocks were very well kept. The only issue was there were multiple campers that had travelled in large groups. The signs say no noise after 10:30pm. Yet, these groups were drinking heavily and shorting/laughing loudly until 2:00am. Maybe the campsite could get their warden's to visit the site at 10.30pm and every so often after, so we can all get some sleep?
Beautiful, quiet campsite

Great campsite in a great location. Nice and quiet, clean toilets/washroom with fridges available to use. Only downsides - a few pitches are on a slight slant and no play area (slides, swings, etc but this is obviously non-essential!) Great dog walking area and great location. Close to Bolton Abbey, Billy Bob's Parlour, Hesketh Farm, Skipton and lots of gorgeous walks. We will definitely be back.

Lovely rural escape with fantastic views, only limited by 90% of pitches being on a slope and nearest entertainment (pubs, Bolton Abbey and River) being a 20min walk away. It's a family orientated site, lots of young children making their own entertainment with strict quiet time from 10.30pm and no cars by tents. Happy to have been, but after 3 nights we were ready to have a change. Toilet and washing facilities are by the reception at the top of the site, so when nature called we had a 12min uphill walk to make. Dog friendly with their own dog play field, which was great. Probably wouldn't return as we'd seen everything it had to offer. Glamping pods looked excellent, again on a massive slope, but that's not true camping ;)

Camping in rainy weather meant that we needed drying facilities and there were none. Disabled shower wet rooms could do with an upgrade. Toilets and their cubicles were not as clean as they could have been. Otherwise a delightful site in a very lovely location. Cheerful and helpful staff, especially the morning coffee and pastries ladies.

Quiet and spacious site with excellent views across the York Moors. Showers, loos and kitchens all very clean and well set up. Separate dog walking field, and a great, easy path down to the river and the Bolton Abbey itself. Will definitely plan to come back here - and bring friends!

A great campsite. Fabulous location for walking from Bolton Abbey. Great facilities and absolutely spotlessly clean. The secure dog exercise area is a huge bonus. We will be back again soon.

Welcoming and well organised site. Brilliant location for exploring Bolton Abbey and strongly recommend a visit to Billy Bob's if you have children. Has some really hilly pitches, so good to arrive earlier if you can.
Fantastic site for all!

Stayed here on the campsite for the first time and can't explain how satisfied we were. We didn't have brilliant weather, but that didn't stop us from enjoying every moment of our stay! The campsite itself was lovely, and the facilities were so clean and they had thought of everything! We didn't use the coffee shop, but we did pre-order a breakfast package which was so tasty, proper quality meat. Next time we will definitely try the coffee shop as we will 100% be returning. Lovely little walks down the road, and perfect views from the site. Could not fault it, very pleased! Thank you everyone at the site!

This was our first camp for quite a few years. When we arrived the staff were very pleasant and informative. The campsite is very clean and well maintained. Shower blocks etc were spotless. Good location for Bolton Abbey which is within a 15/20 minute walk from the campsite. Also a good location for nearby attractions and places to visit within a short drive away. We will return at some point.

Great location, shop and coffee shop for morning drink and pastry. It was busy but didn't feel over crowded and everyone observed the quiet time rule. Clean facilities and friendly staff. Will definitely return.

We really enjoyed our stay at the campsite, it was brilliant! The shop had most things you would need and a fabulous coffee shop with wonderful staff running it. Clearly sign posted as you arrive, area for dogs to run around, fire pits to hire etc. We arrived on Thursday night and it was so quiet and peaceful, however on Friday night it was packed where we were pitched as we made the mistake of putting our tent right into the corner by the stream by the children's swing (a piece of rope). All the children loved it there but it was too noisy for us. If you have children it would have been the perfect spot. We will come again but Monday to Friday - not in the school holidays.
