Lovely quiet campsite. The kids enjoyed rounders every night with fellow campers. Facilities were great.

We had a lovely stay here. The tent field was large with plenty of space to play (if the weather had been better!) The facilities were good and clean and owners very welcoming and friendly. We will return as it is an ideal location for the east coast too.

This campsite was fantastic for myself and partner's 4 night stay. The owner was extremely friendly, welcoming and easy to understand. The facilities were well cleaned and complete with the right amount of toilets, showers and sinks in order to keep queuing to a minimum. Electrical tent hook up pitch was perfect. We were located in the large 'family' overflow field although not a family ourselves we found it to be very quiet. The local pub (The Board Inn) is a definite recommendation, servicing a wide range of pub classics and slightly fancier dishes.

What a lovely site! Very quiet, very clean and generous berths. 5-minute walk to the village and a 2-minute walk to the most beautiful designated dog walk. Thank you for a lovely two days.

Toilets and showers are a little dated but kept very clean, staff just leave you to enjoy your weekend which is very nice but are there when needed. Will return in the future.

Really nice site and staff, facilities could do with an update but all clean and working well. Would definitely stay again. Unfortunately when we stayed there was not a lot going on in Skipsea so definitely recommend packing snacks/your own food. The pub was serving a limited menu and the village shop was closed.

Brilliant site, great welcome from the owner, plus some local information on walks etc. Good value for money. Site is very well maintained, quiet and has nice, clean facilities. Not too far from local attractions and Flamborough lighthouse. Superb pub literally down the road, 5-10 minutes walk, recommended. Would definitely recommend using this site and will do myself again

Clean campsite in a nice location but showers aren't great

We enjoyed our stay at Mill Farm, there was loads of space for our large tent and plenty of room between tents. Having the car next to the tent was helpful as it is appeared to be quite a windy spot. Check in was easy and fast and the whole campsite area was clean and tidy. There was no on site noise disturbance after 10;30pm but our pitch was close to the country road so we got some disturbance from that. The only downside for us was the showers and toilets, the water pressure in the showers isn't great and there are only 2 showers in the mens block and not enough toilets to cater for the size of the site at demand times.
Site's response
Thank you for your review, I am glad you enjoyed your stay. The showers we have are not power showers, but they are free. For the the number of pitches on site, we have provided far more toilets than are required by the local authority.

Nice small site, with a number of electric and non-electric pitches. There is a field of non-electric that allows ball games in the centre. The shower and toilet facilities were fine (the water pressure in the shower could be better, but was acceptable). There is no park for the kids, but they did ride their bikes around the circular road. Only 15 minutes to Bridlington.

Such a lovely couple of days. The facilities were gleaming and we couldn’t fault it. They were very considerate of our pitch and the weather and how close we were to the facilities.

We have just arrived home from a 2 night stay at Mill Farm Country Park (one of which was Bank Holiday Sunday). It was a tester to see if we can do camping with kids! And I can honestly say the campsite is wonderful. Very clean community areas e.g. washing up area, toilets and showers. Everything has a sign so if you're new to camping like my hubby, then you know what you need to do. The owners were very friendly and the lady was always cleaning somewhere, she must never rest! But you can tell it's a well loved family run business and our children had a wonderful time on their first camping trip there. Great location for seaside day trips. And Skipsea village is lovely for a nice walk! We will be booking our next visit as soon as we have unpacked the car!
