The White Horse offers camping at a cosy, dog-friendly inn, serving up plenty of locally sourced food and drink, open Wednesday-Sunday. You'll be well situated for trips around Suffolk, being just a few miles from historical villages such as Boxford and Lavenham. The South Suffolk Cycle Route runs right by site and the Dedham Vale AONB is a short drive away. The pub offers a fantastic list of beers and ciders from independent UK producers.
About White Horse Inn
Set only 6 miles from Sudbury and a 50 minute drive from Stansted Airport, this is an ideal base for exploring Suffolk, with access to tempting food and drink inside the welcoming pub. Putting the environment first, the site uses solar power to heat their hot water - perfect for campers who like to look after the planet, whilst having a nice hot shower! Water comes from the site's own borehole and in the winter, the pub uses locally coppiced, responsibly sourced wood to burn to heat the pub. The camping field includes excellent shelter and offers flat, grassed pitches for both tourers and campers. You'll have the choice of electric and non electric pitches. Dogs are welcome, but preferred on leads as there are many surrounding fields of wildlife and farm animals.
Open all year round, though this is weather dependent.
There are 2 accommodation options on-site

Things to do on site and in the Sudbury area
As you're staying steps from the Edwardstone White Horse Inn and Little Earth Project Brewery, why not pop in and try the tastes of the region? Inside there is a growing drinks menu including fantastic real ales, craft beers, organic wines and locally produced spirits.
A locally sourced menu of cheese and charcuterie boards with homemade sourdough bread is on offer at the pub, with regular food trucks visiting on a weekly basis.
Footpaths will take you over pretty countryside to explore further and animal lovers will be fascinated by the Suffolk Wildlife Trust and the area's RSPB reserves. Or, why not bring your bike and hop on the South Suffolk Cycle Route?
The short drive to Sudbury opens up a handy connection to London by train via Mark's Tey, so easy countryside escapes can be a true reality!
