Not a good layout of pitches

Nice site but would not return due to the pitch layout, felt a bit like a car park, with vehicles in front and behind. Not private.

Our two night stay here was lovely. The pitch area was very well kept and the park was overall very clean and spacious. Will definitely stay here again.

Lovely campsite, the games room was great for the kids and there was so much open space to play.
Brilliant. Brilliant.

This is a huge campground and I must admit that I found it a little bit overwhelming compared to my usual choice. It was extremely busy and besides tourers, there were campers, static caravans and lodges, most of which seemed occupied. Facilities were clean and tidy and the park was well maintained. There is a beautiful river walk which takes you past waterfalls and gorges. The nearby village has a pub, garage and shops. It is also within easy driving distance of Pitlochry which is well worth a visit. This is a lovely site, but its size is the main reason I would probably not stay again, but it certainly seems to suit a lot of people!
Lovely site and lovely village

Lack of flexibility

Two showers of the male room were out of service. I felt that I should not have been charged the full price of putting up another small tent. I was charged the price of 3 for 2 persons. I think more flexibility could have been shown, at their discretion. My pitch was big enough to pitch two single 2 persons tents.

Top site, warmly greeted by the reception staff, who were very helpful. Beautifully clean and tidy site. Set in superb grounds that are very well maintained. Great walks that are easily accessed, and a brilliant location to check out surrounding points of interests.

Pods would be fantastic if they had a fridge/kettle. Also it would be great if there was somewhere to put your belongings instead of on the floor. The site is excellent though.

Cannot fault this campsite, excellent, and walks for the dog are amazing straight from the site. Places to go all close, lochs, lakes. Pitlochry is a lovely place to visit, with great little gift shops. Takeaway just outside the campsite is excellent. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

A lovely site centrally located. It was dog friendly and had lovely plentiful walks next to the site. I received a warm friendly welcome and the site itself is laid out well.
Pretty good with good location

The only thing that spoilt it a bit was a late night outside drinks party close by on the last night. It made it pretty noisy for sleeping. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay.

Loved the park, great location, although our camper was not in the sunshine, which was a shame as I would have liked to sit outside in the evening sun, but the trees blocked it. I would just ask for a pitch away from the trees next time. Very helpful at reception. The toilet block adjacent to C5 were clean, but lots of excess water on the floor in the ladies which could be slippy. This was a minor thing though and did not ruin our stay.
Top notch experience

I just wanted a nice weekend away to relax and walk with my dog, and Blair Atholl delivered that. The park is very well organised, clearly signposted within the park, and wash facilities were modern and clean. I would recommend this park. I will be returning when I can and will try and stay for longer than a weekend.

Well kept site with large open areas. Nice walk around the site and you also get free access to the Castle gardens. Blair Atholl is a lovely village. Toilet blocks were immaculate, the only negative is outside the site's control and that was the noisy crows. The Watermill café is in a great setting and there is a pub, which we didn't use on this visit. Disappointed to find the local brewery hasn't opened their beer garden, as this was one of the reasons we picked the site. The Craft Beer shop also no longer exists, nor the bar at the chippy. The chippy was ok, not the best and not the worst we have had. Pitlochry is as lovely as ever, but sorry to say that some establishments are ripping off tourists with their pricing, 50% or more above the norm - disgraceful!

Great break, campsite was clean and well looked after. Pitches are well spaced out, even though the park was busy.
Spoiled our earlier stay

We stayed one night at Blair Castle on the way back home from John O'Groats after we had stayed a single night on the way north a few days earlier. At our earlier stay, we told staff that on 25th May we would arrive late as we were collecting cyclists from JOG late afternoon so we wouldn't get down to Blair Castle till around 10pm or later. We were told this was ok as long as we were quiet on arrival, which wasn't a problem as we are always quiet and had no need to pitch a tent or awning, just our camper van to pull up and go to sleep. However despite arriving at 9.40pm, earlier than originally forecast, we were met by a gentleman who told us off for arriving 10 mins after the normal latest check in time. This couldn't have been more different from our earlier stay when we had the friendliest of reception staff who were extremely courteous and helpful. Our pitch was also not that flat so we had to use chocks, which still didn't quite do the job but it wasn't too bad.
