Cotswold Hills Country Park is a peaceful, year-round camping, touring and holiday lodge park, set in open countryside just outside of Chipping Norton in the idyllic Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The site welcomes tents and tourers on its grass and hardstanding pitches, with the option of an electric hook up. This is the perfect location for days of exploring, surrounded by the pretty villages of Bourton-on-the-Water and Burford.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

Good campsite. Showers were a bit mucky and constantly littered in grass. Some odd stains on the shower curtains. Camping in the rally field is okay, but the lack of pitch numbers & lights in the field can make things confusing.

Great site

The main thing about this campsite was the helpfulness of all the staff. They went above and beyond to help in any way.

Lovely, clean & simple campsite. Friendly staff. Toilets & showers nice and clean and had the radio playing. Stayed a Saturday & Sunday night in the Rally Field - very peaceful. Chipping Norton within walking distance & we also cycled to Diddly Squat Farm & Stow on the Wold.

Nice but not quite what we expected

We booked a grass pitch. However, the grass pitch was a field was a free for all, which also meant that it wasn't saved when you left for the day. The facilities were generally clean but there were only 3 cubicles (each gender) for the whole campsite, so there was always a queue in the morning for showers. The shop, we never went in as when we did go, it was shut. Not sure of the hours but we weren't late. I would then say it would be nice touch to offer female products in the toilets.

Nice place, very welcoming

Stayed at the campsite for a long weekend, very accommodating with our needs and very helpful. Toilet/shower block clean. Whole campsite very well kept and maintained, which made stay a pleasant experience. Chipping Norton is a great town and would highly recommend the campsite and town.

Lovely site, good value and nice staff!

Used this a a test for our new tent (not camped for over 20 years) ready for Scotland next year. Lovely site, well maintained, lovely flat pitches. Couldn't fault it for what we wanted.

We loved this site. The pitch was huge. Lovely quiet site. Central for sight-seeing. Everything clean and tidy. Service was excellent. A very friendly team on site. In the ladies block there were three toilets and three showers, ample provision and we never had to wait to use either facilities. Good washing up and laundry facilities. Would definitely revisit if in the area again.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

Great spacious site and great staff, the nice touch of coming out to see us as we were getting ready to leave was exceptional. The only downside is the walk to to Chipping Norton, where the first five or 10 minutes are on a bypass on a man made "worn" side "pathway" on the side of the road. This was a little unnerving. All in all, great site, good location for Diddly Squat by dog friendly bus or an hour's walk with "refreshments" halfway, if you don`t decide to use a drive away awning. 10 minutes by car. Thanks to all.

Beautiful, clean, central, great place

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

Very well-run site. Highly recommend. Very pleasantly surprised as it's new to me, even though I know the Cotswolds pretty well. About a 20 minute walk to Chipping Norton village centre which has a good selection of pubs. If you want to eat, there didn't seem to have many options, but the pubs do good trade for pub food. I camp and caravan often, this time was just a solo trip. Stayed in the rally field without electric hook-up. These fields can be busy and noisy in peak times, but I didn't experience this. Lots of campers were there to visit Diddly Squat which is a short drive.

Site good. Showers would benefit from area to put clothes in the cubicle. Wash up area not as clean as could be.

Lovely little site. Really clean, family orientated. Some shelves for storing your clothes, bags etc while showering would be a brilliant addition.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

Lovely site in a great spot with easy access to all the best spots in the Cotswolds. We were pitched in the rally field, which was lovely. However, we were by the hedge that backed onto the road which, although a country lane, was quite busy. If you are in the rally field, pitch on the left!

Stayed here for two nights, site is well maintained and the facilities are lovely. Owners were very friendly. Only slight niggle was feeling a bit on top of each other, could do with some privacy screens between pitches.

Lovely, clean, tidy campsite

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2024

A clean, flat site, could do with a few more toilets and showers and the one block was used by all. Radio 2 pumping out of the toilet speakers, happy with that! Staff were very friendly and there's even a little shop if you've forgotten something. 22:30 nose curfew, a few rule breakers but soon quietened down. It was very busy but still loved it. Thanks.
