Galley Hill Farm Camping is ideally located to explore beautiful beaches and scenery as it is just a mile from the Quay at Blakeney. It is next to a B road so there is some road noise. The campsite is a 20 minute walk from the coastal path along North Norfolk's gorgeous coastline, with the seals at Blakeney Point sure to be a hit with the kids. Spacious grass pitches and a cosy camping pod are perfect for hassle free breaks. Sorry, no dogs.

Lovely site. We were greeted by the owner who showed us all the facilities, recommended local places to visit and couldn't be more helpful. The site is on the small side but you're not packed in and it's quiet at night. Short walk to the pub/shop but take a torch as it's the countryside and unlit. As a positive, the sunset and stars in view were stunning.
Site's response
Thank you for your review Matthew and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. We do get amazing sunsets so I'm glad you had the chance to see them.

This is a beautiful site, we’ve stayed before and enjoyed the family friendly atmosphere. It’s convenient to get to lots of stunning places to visit plus the site and facilities are kept immaculately clean at all times. We received a warm and friendly welcome from Sal, we will definitely return and highly recommend this site to others.

I'm tentative in writing a review because such a gem was something I'd love to have kept to myself, but alas I feel selfish not sharing. We used the pod and the weather was pretty windy and rainy on our night. It was cosy and spacious. The location is excellent, crabbing and seal trips just within minutes and a coast hopper bus ride to endless beautiful villages and great pubs with excellent food. It's North Norfolk, so can be pricey, but quality costs, except Galley Hill, where I'd say the quality is incredibly reasonable. Will use again without hesitation.
Site's response
Thank you for your kind comments, James. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay despite the weather not being the best. Hope to see you again one day.

Great location, walking distance to Blakeney, and a short drive to other nice spots like Sheringham Park or Wells. The camping pod is bigger than we thought and had plenty of room for me, my wife and 3 kids. Toilets and facilities were very clean and the campsite was very quiet noise wise. Sal was very friendly, offering us use of the freezer and happy to answer any questions upon arrival. Highly recommend, we will be back!

Such a pleasant stay. Sal is a lovely host. The campsite is very clean, nicely marked out spaces and the washing facilities are really clean. Our children loved the open space and the location is perfect for visiting all sorts of places. We have stayed here before and we will stay again.

What a lovely site to base ourselves at for a few days. Well spaced out pitches and practical facilities all very clean. Short walk into Blakeney. Hired a couple a bikes which was great, so we didn't have to use our campervan. Cycled everywhere, including up early for swim at Salthouse. Recommend Glandford Shell Museum and Church, Bayfield Hall Antiques and Natural Surroundings, Binham Priory and Langham Dome. Worth seeing what's in in Blakeney - we saw a Rolling Stones tribute act at the Harbour Room. Thanks Sal for a perfect pitch - will definitely return

A very welcoming and clean campsite, Sally was cleaning facilities multiple times a day, and they were always very nice and clean. There was also a freezer available to refreeze ice packs if needed. The pitches were very spacious, and the campsite not overcrowded. Would definitely recommend!

The pod is ideal. Still very basic but you've got enough room to stand up, there's a table and chairs, electricity, and a heater/fan. Ideal for 2.

Glad you enjoyed your stay, Cameron. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.

The host, Sal, is delightful. We really appreciate the pitch that was reserved for our requirements. Well maintained site with excellent facilities and super hot showers. Only negative was the intermittent smell from what we presume was the septic tank. Overall would still stay here again.
Site's response
Thank you for your review, Katherin.

Fantastic site, we love it here!! Close to Blakeney Coastal Village & medium walk to neighbouring villages. We come here as often as we can during the summer. The site is always quiet and other campers are always very helpful & friendly. Well-maintained electric and non-electric grass pitches available as well as a shepherd's hut, with views out over the coast and sea at the higher side of the site. The site facilities are always clean and serviced many times throughout the day. For location, service & price this site has been my favourite in North Norfolk for many years. A++++ Thanks!!
Site's response
Thank you for your very kind comments, Ted. It's always a pleasure having you stay.

When we arrived, we were met by the owner, Sal, who was absolutely lovely and asked if we needed anything. We were directed to our pitch. They seemed well spaced pitches. We saw the camping pod which also looked really nice on the other side of the field. Ground was nice and flat and pegs went in well. Very well kept. The toilets were absolutely spotless, never camped somewhere with such clean facilities. It was very very windy on our stay, but there was plenty of room to put all guy-ropes down and I think the hedges stopped some of the wind. Very quiet overnight. The B Road was barely a concern and we were on the side closest to it. Maybe heard 3 cars all night. Beautiful sunset
Site's response
Many thanks for your kind comments Helen, the wind has been very challenging this last week, but I'm glad you still enjoyed your stay with us. Hope to see you again in the future.

Lovely quiet campsite. Owners very friendly. Facilities spotless. Facilities adequate for number of people when we were there but wouldn't like to be there when site full. Good location - central for coast and marshes. Cery handy for seal boat trips - great seeing them. Site chosen for location - thought I would walk into Blakeney but traffic goes a bit fast along that road. Good for cycling from though. Would stay here again.
