Chacewater Park is a quiet, family owned touring park exclusively for adults, centrally located in Cornwall - ideally located to enjoy all of the region's beautiful beaches and scenery. Set on the Mineral Tramways Coast to Coast Trail, the site is perfect for exploring the mining trails and engine houses in the nearby area.
About Chacewater Park
Situated in 6.5 acres the park is split into two main areas. One for campers without pets and the other for those bringing their furry friends. There's even a separate six acre field that's ideal for walking and exercising your pooch. The site is perfect for couples looking for a peaceful break and a friendly atmosphere. There are a range of pitches catering for your tourer including grass and hardstanding pitches. Electric hook-ups are available on each. You can also opt to stay in one of the fully serviced hardstanding pitches which are fully equipped with electric, water and grey water drainage. This peaceful touring park is a perfect base to explore Cornwall, with a bus stop less than 100 yards from the site taking you as far as St Ives and even Penzance.

Site rules and policies
Chacewater Park is exclusively for adults therefore all people staying on or visiting the park must comply with this condition. Proof of age may be required. All visitors must report to reception on arrival at the park, as a charge does apply.
* Pitches may be provisionally reserved by phone, (subject to acceptance of a booking form) but are held no longer than five days before receipt of the nonrefundable deposit and booking form.
* Chacewater Park does not accept commercial vehicles, fifth wheelers, motor cycles or scooters (we do however accept battery operated scooters for the disabled), and reserves the right to refuse or terminate any booking at its absolute discretion.
* Only 2 persons per unit.
* We only accept proprietary makes of motorhomes or caravanettes which are always accommodated on hardstanding.
* No groundcover is permitted on grass pitches.
*Not all pitches will accommodate continental caravans or motorhomes, therefore please ensure you have marked the special requirements box as we may not be able to accommodate you on arrival if we are not aware beforehand.
* Dogs are only accepted by prior arrangement at the time of booking, a very limited number of dogs (excluding Rottweilers, Dobermans, Bull Terriers or any cross of these breeds) are accepted on the park, where a dog is accepted normally only one dog per unit, at our discretion a second dog may be accepted, during certain weeks of the season. Dogs must be non- aggressive, kept on a short lead under control at all times, they must not be left unattended at units and are to be exercised off the park. We have a large field adjacent to the park for this purpose. ? The proprietors will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to clients' property, or injury to persons on the park.
Things to do on site and in the Truro area
The closest beaches here are on Cornwall's spectacular north coast at Portreath, St Agnes, Porthtowan, Perranporth, Crantock and Hollywell Bay.
You may also prefer watching the waves and surfers at stunning Fistral beach in Newquay and there are endless coastal paths to explore Cornwall's finest beaches whether it be St Ives, Penzance, Sennen Cove or Godrevy beach.
You're also situated in the midst of Cornwall's mining heritage with local walks to enjoy the scenic countryside. Right on the park's doorstep is the stunning Mineral Tramways Coast to Coast Trail which runs from Portreath to Devoran, on the south coast, and is ideal for keen cyclists and ramblers.
Truro is the Cornish capital and is nearby with a beautiful cathedral. Or spend the day cruising along the River Fal with trips from Truro. Or take a daytrip to St Michael's mount or a trip to the Minack Theatre.
