Aptly named, Cornish Coasts is near the northern coastline - and it's a family campsite with tempting views. Choose from a range of spacious camping and touring pitches, with and without electric. Featuring a tasty cafe and a fresh and delicious farm shop with excellent gifts and homemade treats, it's a great base for your next trip. Don't miss the beaches at Widemouth Bay and Bude nearby.

About Cornish Coasts Caravan and Camping Park

With four spacious acres, this award-winning spot near the coast includes a selection of touring and camping pitches and lots of 10 amp electric hook ups. You'll have excellent views over countryside and out towards the sea from terraced pitches, with neat low level hedging adding some privacy. You can even spot Widemouth Bay and Lundy Island in the distance. Another large field is also available and a gently sloping camping meadow for tents - nice and close to the play park so that the kids won't have far to go. If you're looking for something quieter on holiday, try the lower camping meadow, which is a little further away from the amenities. The site also has a small selection of static caravans and holiday apartments, ranging from 2-8 berth. All have fab views over Widemouth Bay.

The site is open from 11th January until 3rd November weather dependent.

Check-in is between noon and 7pm and check-out is due before 10am on your final day.

The site's fully licensed cafe onsite is open all year and serves a delicious range of fresh and locally sourced produce, including the cafe's famous hearty breakfast and a wide selection of lunches, homemade cakes plus daily specials. Open from 8am-4pm daily, with longer opening hours during the school holidays.

Yes, you're welcome to bring a maximum of two well behaved dogs per pitch, provided they are kept on a lead whilst onsite and are not a breed/crossbreed listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act, or any of the following: Rottweiler, Doberman, Bull Mastiff, Pit Bull Terriers or crosses of the same. There are a number of dog friendly beaches in the local area and canal paths that welcome dogs all year round.

The north Cornish coastline is minutes from the park, with surfing and plenty of rockpools to explore at Widemouth Bay just two miles away, and only five miles to Bude. Lundy Island can be spotted in the distance and is well worth a visit to take in its incredible landscape, or soak up the stunning scenery on a trek along the South West Coast Path. Venture to Tintagel, 13 miles away, and enjoy the breathtaking coastal views from the castle ruins linked to the legend of King Arthur! Or head to Boscastle and take a tour of the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic, with plenty of magical exhibits on display to admire.

Yes, one of each may be brought with you for a small extra charge.

Handy information packs and maps in the cafe are a great place to start. Why not take a walk and explore the South West Coast Path and its jawdropping views, or get surfing the waves. Book lessons in the area to help you get your feet, and hire a board for your adventures.

Hire a bike and you'll find Widemouth Bay only a 25 minute cycle away, and much more to explore. There's no need to work up too much of a sweat, though, just feeling the sun on your back and paging through a good book is a great way to pass an afternoon.

A handy five miles takes you to Bude with its turquoise sea pool and Boscastle is a fishing village with a quaint National Trust tea room and the intriguing Museum of Witchcraft in its centre.

There might not be too many swords in its stones these days, but Tintagel and its legends are just 13 miles from the park.

Other nearby attractions include:

  • The Monster Slip and Slide (5 minutes)
  • Rebel Cinema (5 minutes)
  • Castle Bude (10 minutes)
  • Tintagel Old Post Office (25 minutes)
  • Newquay (1 hour)
