Cwmdu campsite is in a beautiful location with mountain views. The pitches are well kept and the showers and toilets spotless. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They gave us tips for walks and even lent us a map. Altogether, highly recommended.

We've been using campsites for over 30 years and this one is in the top five! Staff really helpful, even loaned us a can opener when ours broke :-) Mobile coverage on o2 and Vodafone is a bit sketchy (whilst on the site), but we found a couple of places that we could use to make calls. Getting the Freeview tuned in was difficult, but with the helpful advice from the wardens we got enough channels to keep us happy each evening. There is free Wi-Fi available, which gives good speed and coverage, try to avoid streaming live TV to be fair to other users. The site is spotless and has spectacular views, plenty of space for teenagers etc. We will be back to see more!
Lovely campsite with great facilities!

It was pretty empty as it was the first weekend in October but that suited us! Warm welcome by owner. The toilet block was very clean and showers were good. Was great that there was a fridge and freezer for use by campers and 3 x washing up sinks. Lovely setting. Would definitely stay again :-)

I chose this site purely because it was about 20 minutes from home and I figured I could cycle that. I was greeted on entrance and given my space. There was even an offer to reopen the shop which has closed for lunch. The site is spacious and spotlessly clean. There are a number of walks that you can launch from the site. When I go again I'll take a car though. The local pub closed Mon and Tue and the cafe Tue and Wed. Definitely a place to recommend.

From the moment we arrived, the camp staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The site itself is in a beautiful spot, which just adds to it. Nothing was too much if any help was needed. There is the added bonus of a little shed with both BBQs and firepits to borrow if required with the on-site shop selling almost everything you'll need, including charcoal and logs. The washing machine and tumble dryer were extremely useful also. We will most definitely be returning.

We stayed for one night for my girlfriend's birthday and, despite the rain, we had such a lovely time. Emily helped us assemble our BBQ because we didn't have the right tools! We would definitely recommend this site, facilities were very clean and the staff were so helpful.

Mother and I had a great time, and the owner/staff couldn't do enough for you. Also very clean and central for good walks in the Brecons 👍

Very nice park with very friendly people. When having a flat tire on a bike a young staff member helped us perfectly. Thanks again!

A medium sized site but well laid out which makes the pitches feel nicely secluded and the site team are friendly and run a really good site - lovely place to stay fantastic for exploring the Brecon Beacons.
Great facilities, nice location but noisy

New facilities for showers, toilets and washing up were all kept clean and tidy and that's a real plus for us. Lovely reception and shop with local amenities and maps for local walks - all great! The only downside was being next to the A-road and we found that lorries driving past at 50mph kept us up at night and woke us early in the morning. Also, I wouldn't recommend camping in the bottom field road side - originally we wanted to have as much privacy as possible but the road hedge row next to the pile of grass cuttings and tree trimmings is a haven for mice/rats who visited us in the night - rather brazenly keeping us up to the early hours and as you can imagine, quite traumatising. We were able to move to the tree line and towards the middle which was better - no visitors but could still hear loud squeaks!

First time here and certainly won't be the last; thank you Emily and all the fab staff who keeps this campsite so clean. Fridge, freezer, etc. all available - just what campers need and the local pub for superb food. Highly recommend in this part of South Wales.

Lovely location, beautifully laid out, generous sized pitches and a fab well stocked shop. Owners were very helpful and went the extra mile for us (opened shop for us out of hours written on board). Shower/toilet facilities are large and spotless on arrival. Extended our stay for an extra night and unfortunately the experience was spoiled slightly by a very large group of teenagers (DofE or similar). Not the fault of the owners as I'm sure they were as disappointed with the state of the toilets/showers as we were!
Excellent value for money

Stayed in a pod for two nights and highly recommend it. Spotlessly clean with a fridge, microwave, BBQ, kettle, outside chairs, plates and cutlery all included. All you really need to pack is bedding. The only downside is that the onsite café and pubs are not open every day, and the café just happened to closed on both days I stayed (Tuesday and Wednesday). The Farmers Arms, the local pub, is nice for food but I would recommend trying the other pub instead - can't remember the name. Can't fault the campsite itself, the showers actually work and have plenty of room to put your clothes and dry yourself. I will definitely be going back.

Excellent staff, really friendly and helpful. Location has bad phone signal but the site has decent WiFi. Really clean facilities and has all essential supplies plus extras like a book/dvd phonebooth. They have a pizza van and Mexican van come onto site on certain days so you don't need to leave the site for food. The local pub is only open 5 days a week. This place is lovely, I would definitely return.

A first class campsite, with the most friendliest and helpful staff we have ever come across. You should feel very proud of how you're running it. Lots of walks to be done from the campsite, and great advice on where and how to follow them. A real gem of a campsite. We will be back.

We had such a lovely stay, the campsite is beautiful, all the staff are so friendly and the facilities are spotless. The Monday night pizza pop-up was the cherry on top of a great week!

Campsite is neat and tidy. Facilities are clean and adequate for a site of this size and cost. Plenty of hot water in the showers and hot water in the washing area is a nice addition. On site shop provides a decent stock of essentials in case you have forgotten anything. Site is very family friendly and there were often kids running round and playing in the attached sports field. Location is handy for getting about in the Brecon Beacons and there is a small cafe and a pub within walking distance. Pub was nice and cheerful, didn't try the cafe but it looked like it has a good trade. There are no shops within walking distance except the little one on site.

Great park, with brilliant showers and toilet facilities. We were on the non-electric and only have two negatives. Part of the site is a slope and right next to the busy road, and we would have preferred to be higher up the park to be away from that noise.
Fantastic

Fantastic site close to all walks on the breacon. Very clean and tidy. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. On site shop for anything forgotten. Toilets and showers very clean. Also good if you're an avid bird watcher.

On arrival, the staff were so helpful and our pitch was great. The views are something else, what beautiful surroundings to wake up to each morning. During our stay we visited the national show caves, Abergavenny, Keepers Pond then finished the week having a meal at the Farmers Arms. Facilities on the campsite were kept clean. We had a great holiday.
