Situated behind the dunes at Whitesands Beach on the most Westerly tip of South Wales, with incredible Atlantic views - you can't get much further away from the hustle and bustle of modern life than Whitesands Camping! This is a great place for relaxed beachside camping and there is a tasty cafe, rock pools and surfing to enjoy.
About Whitesands Camping
Camping here offers amazing views, right next to beach and dunes at Whitesands, which was recently called one of the 'top 50 beaches in the UK' by The Sunday Times. Whitesands Camping was also recommended as 'the best place to stay' to enjoy the beach, so you know you're in good hands. Whitesands has also been hailed as one of the Weather Channel's 'Ten Coolest Campsites in Britain'. There are fourteen electric hook-up pitches on the main site which are offered on a first come first served basis with no advance booking, right by a lovely Blue Flag beach.
The main site (30 pitches) is open from Friday 1st April (Easter holidays) until the end of October, while the farm fields site is open during the main school summer holidays.
There are 60 accommodation options on-site
30 x Whitesands Camping
A basic 'almost wild' tent camping site with amazing views (being right next to the beach).
30 x Farm Fields Summer Site
Amazing views on farm fields above Whitesands, open only during the summer holidays.

Site rules and policies
Sorry, we don't have pitches for caravans or very large motorhomes; there are nearby sites inland that specialise in these.
Main site (30 pitches for tents, trailer tents, campervans and motorhomes) is open from Easter through to the end of October.
Farm fields (water taps, plenty of space, directly over Whitesands Bay) are open in August.
There are 14 electric hook-ups on the main site ("first-come-first-served"). It is not possible to book hook-ups in advance.
Electric showers are £1 for a token, obtained when booking in on site.
We do not allow campfires (on the ground), and Chinese lanterns may not be lit or launched on site.
In the interests of other campers, dogs should be kept under close control or on a lead on the site.
To avoid damage to the grass-cutting machinery and environment: campers are requested not to remove stones from the hedges, or leave them on the grass.
Arrival time: not before 12pm mid-day. Departure time: not later than 12pm mid-day.
"Famous Pete" works in the Beach Car Park Ticket Office, and may be contacted there between 0900-1100 & 1400-1630; if you arrive outside those hours, choose your own pitch, and visit him the next day.
The small main site is fairly flat, sloping gently down towards the sea; the farm fields above the beach (open in August) all have flat areas mainly next to the hedges, but if you camp on a sloping section it would be wise to park your vehicle across rather than facing downhill. The top fields are flat, but further away from the beach and facilities.
10% discount given for groups of 20 or more. Please e-mail your requirements for larger parties.
Groups of under-18s are accepted if contact details of "a responsible adult" are provided by e-mail, and payment for the camping visit is made in advance, on arrival.
Card payments preferred, or cash; we do not take cheques any more.
Broadband Wi-Fi available on site (charge made for use by provider Dragon Wifi: first 10 minutes free, £5 for one day, £8 for 3 days (1Gb), £12 for 7 days (2Gb), £20 for two weeks).
Things to do on site and in the Haverfordwest area
Whitesands Beach offers plenty of its own entertainment, where you can go swimming, dip into rock pools, or play games in the sand.
You can book surfing lessons on site and put your board skills to the test, then grab something tasty in the cafe, or have a delicious ice cream sold by the hut by the sea. You'll find a links golf course 400 metres away, and the rocks around the beach make good perches to go fishing for bass and mackerel.
From here you can join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, a stunning route for walkers.
St Davids is utterly charming, so head out to explore ancient buildings like Bishops Palace and its historic cathedral.
