Great campsite

We had a wonderful time at the campsite. All facilities were lovely and super clean, with everything you needed and more (washing machine and tumble dryers!). Staff very helpful and friendly, and knowledgeable of local area. The site is in a great location and at a farm, where you can feed donkeys and sheep. Very family friendly. There is great access to all walking routes up Snowdon and a beautiful lake nearby for swimming and paddleboarding, etc. Lovely pub nearby serving good well priced food. All in all a great campsite!

Loved it here!

We stayed in a pod, it was basic and had 2 plug sockets, light and heater (we didn't use the heater). The campsite was clean with a very basic shop onsite. The people working there were friendly and the donkeys were fun to watch. The little play park was good. We walked to Moel Eilio with our 5yr old, from the campsite. We loved the area, so so pretty. You will need to be able to drive. I would definitely recommend this little campsite!

Discovered a gem

A gem, beautiful site, close to a lot of activities, from horse riding, visiting castles, exploring Anglesey, walks and zip world. Staff super friendly, site facilities great… Will be back.

Lovely little campsite

Had a lovely stay here. The staff were really helpful and friendly, the amenities were enough, but could maybe do with some more showers. The donkeys were lovely, our children loved feeding them and the play park was a hit with our youngest. The downside for us was it got quite noisy in the evenings, with kids running around the tents and playing football right up to 11 pm. Beautiful mountain views and a good base for hiking. It was pretty cold and wet there at times though, especially at night so take warm clothes and sensible shoes!

Hidden gem

Beautiful little site with fabulous views. Staff so very helpful and friendly. Access road very narrow but manageable with car - worth the anxiety to reach this hidden gem 😁 Will definitely be back.

Almost there

Nice compact site, well organised with good facilities. My only minor gripe is that there is not an adequate shop on site to sell the bare essentials. If you want choice you need to go to Caernarfon, if you want basics there is a store in Waunfar but it is a 25-minute walk. Other than that it was a great experience, with magnificent views and walks.

I would 100% recommend it!

Location is great to explore the Snowdonia area, as well as the North and West coast. The views are magnificent, the site is tranquil, organised, clean, with a utility room which has got 2 big fridges/freezer, microwave, few sinks, washing machine and a dryer machine. The showers are with spring water, great for skin and hair, and are hot with pressure. They also have available baskets for pitch fires. Aside from all that, the staff are very helpful, professional and go the extra mile. Dog friendly too!

Really friendly site, clean with great amenities including a little play area for the kids and an opportunity to feed the donkeys. Will definitely be back

An amazing 5 days at Tyn-yr-Onnen Farm and Campsite

We had an incredible stay at Tyn-yr-Onnen Farm and Campsite. The pitches were well spaced and the grounds were neat and well kept. The shower and toilet block was always clean and more importantly, the water temperature and pressure for the shower was perfect after a days hike. The location couldn't have been better and we were able to get to the starting points of all of the major hikes we wanted to do in 30 mins more or less. The view of the mountains from the site were also breathtaking. We will definitely be returning next year, as we have much more of Snowdonia to discover!

Wonderful stay at this charming camp site

We were delighted when we arrived at this camp site, it really is a great find. It located in the foothills of Snowdonia and has many walks mapped out for you, toilets and showers are immaculate as are the grounds. Very friendly welcoming staff, we will definitely return here... a little piece of heaven.

A beautiful campsite with outstanding views. Lovely, kind people who work there and very very clean facilities. Would definitely come back.

Great campsite, great location

We stayed here for a quick trip while we climbed Snowdon. Staff were very accommodating, great facilities and the cabin was perfect for what we needed. Perfect to charge your devices and a radiator to dry off your wet clothes. We definitely appreciated 4 solid walls in the wind and rain.

Really good campsite

Fabulous location, handy for all the good walking and climbing spots. Beautiful views from good quality tent pitches. The toilet blocks and showers are excellent and exceptionally clean. Lovely to have spring water available and proper, segregated recycling facilities. The staff are super friendly and helpful plus there seems to be lots to keep kids entertained - donkeys, ducklings and a play area. Would definitely stay here again, plus the camping pods are an excellent option.

Amazing place

The pods are spacious, clean and cosy. They are located close to the shower rooms and toilets. The views are great and there are plenty of attractions just a short drive away.

North Wales walking and paddle-boarding holiday

Great location, close to Snowdon and lakes for paddle-boarding. Campsite and facilities were great, nice warm showers. The kids loved the site. Would definitely come back again.

Great little site

Great little site, basic but has all you need. Well located for the sights of North Wales.

Friendly staff, clean toilets

Stayed for a couple of nights to climb Snowdon. The views are excellent, everyone was very friendly and I've never seen such clean bathrooms on a campsite.
