About Blacklands Farm Caravan and Camping
This spacious campsite is ideal for families and small family groups. Home to a giant play park where kids can run free and stay busy for hours, parents have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the rural ambience. In the warmer season, there are around 200 pitches split over two distinct fields. The playground field is home to the central shower and toilet facilities, along with the campsite reception, onsite shop, and the children's play park. The second field, called the paddocks field, has it's own satellite toilet and shower units and is closer to the fishing lakes. The paddocks is more suitable for family groups than the playground field. Pick between non electric and 10 amp electric grass pitches, both suitable for tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes. During the off peak season there are 20 hardstanding electric pitches in the playground field for tourers. The reception is generally closed in the off-peak season, but a warden remains permanently on site, and the playground is generally open (weather permitting). For anyone wishing to try their hand at fishing, there is a large lake and several smaller ponds available for the use of guests only. On busy summer weekends, the fishing warden offers lessons to novices also. Why not hire a fire pit when booking and join all the other campers roasting sausages and marshmallows over the embers as the sun goes down. BBQs are also welcome as long as they are raised from the ground. Well behaved dogs are welcome, provided they are kept on a lead at all times.
Grass pitches for tents and tourers are only open from May until September. The hardstanding touring pitches are available all year round, please note, that the shop and reception building will be closed from October until Easter.

Things to do on site and in the Henfield area
Children will love letting off steam in the large fenced off playground area, and exploring this secluded and natural retreat on foot or by bike. You will also find goal posts and plenty of space for field games for adults and children alike.
The fishing is great too, with a number of scenic lakes contained within the park itself, all well-stocked with fish, including carp.
Taking a walk through the pristine local countryside via any of several footpaths that run directly from or close to the park is not something to be missed. The footpaths can be followed into Henfield, the nearest village around 50 minutes away, or perhaps to any of the more local pubs for lunch.
Henfield also lies along the South Downs Link, a unique walking and cycling route running between Shoreham Beach and Guildford.
Brighton is also a 20 minute drive away, home to a historic pier, pebble beach and plenty of seaside charm. Meander through the lanes and discover a great range of vintage shops and independent boutiques, or head to some of the quirky museums and the Royal Pavillion to learn about some local history.
