Dan's Meadow Certificated Site offers five pitches in a gated, secure and part-sheltered site nestling in 4.5 acres of meadowland and bordered by the River Fynn in Martlesham. Camping and Caravanning Club members enjoy a picnic area with views over a well kept meadow and across to a treelined riverbank. Optional electric available. Access to Ipswich is easy and you'll find the seaside at Felixstowe, plus the famous Sutton Hoo a short drive away.
About Dan's Meadow Certificated Site
This site is a space for peace, tranquillity and families to bring their children for a holiday in a picturesque setting. Andrew, Kris and Kylie look forward to welcoming you to Dan's Meadow, a family oriented site with a large and well kept meadow for recreation and games. Well placed for touring Suffolk and neighbouring Norfolk and Essex, the site is only a short walk or drive away from the riverside town of Woodbridge. Pitch up to enjoy large pitches and easy access for all types of caravan and motorhome, also accepting tents, trailer tents and even fifth wheel units. Well behaved pets are welcome too. The team are passionate about this stunning area and are sure that you'll want to return and see even more in future.

Facilities include first class heated toilet and shower suites, with automatic lights and hot showers that feature softened water and various temperature controls. There's also a family wet room, disabled facilities, and baby changing station. Fresh drinking water is available on the field. WiFi is available at a reasonable extra cost. The site includes CCTV and locked entry gates.
You will be within a five minute walk of the local pub and restaurant. Fish and chips, farm produce shops and a post office are all available locally, with larger stores including Tesco, Marks and Spencer and Next only a short distance away. There's also a bus route into the market town of Ipswich at the end of the road.

Large grass pitches, with 10 amp electric hook up. Shared facilities are nearby. Dogs are welcome if accompanied by responsible owners. Plenty of room for children to play. Short walk to pub and restaurant.

Site rules and policies
Whilst on site please ensure main gate is locked when leaving site for any period of time, including locking at night and upon final departure.
Please make sure you set up between two blue wooden posts at rear of pitch, that the site occupied is left in a clean condition and that rubbish is either taken away or placed in the bins provided.
Plots will need to be vacated by 11am unless by prior arrangement with site management (subject to availability and an additional cost).
Ensure toilet block lights and taps are switched off and external doors are closed.
Please ensure that all money due is paid, prior to leaving the site.
Noise should be kept to a minimum late at night to prevent disturbing nearby neighbours.
To enable Dan's Meadow to fulfil its obligation for liability insurance please warn all family members, and any visitors, of the proximity and dangers of the river and accept that Dan's Meadow cannot be held responsible for accidents or losses sustained by club members, their guests, or children during the duration of their stay.
A £20.00 non refundable deposit applies to bookings.
All guests must be members of the Camping and Caravanning Club.
Things to do on site and in the Woodbridge area
There are 11 local walks and bike tracks, or perhaps you prefer visiting historical and heritage sites such as Framlingham Castle, Orford Castle, or Sutton Hoo - the Anglo Saxon burial site where the famous 6th and 7th century treasures were found.
If a day at the seaside is more to your taste, Felixstowe is approximately 15 minutes away by car, with Aldeburgh and Southwold slightly further afield.
Half an hour gets you to the Dedham Vale where you will find the picturesque Flatford, made famous by John Constable in his painting The Haywain and Willie Lotts Cottage. It's well worth stopping at the riverside cafe or taking a boat on the river.
After a busy day, what could be better than returning to your unit and enjoying a glass of wine or beer with a meal catching up with your favorite soap or sport using the TV hook ups on site.
