Cheeky week away

Really friendly staff & owner. Many nice touches, such as benches, huts and seats, a play area for kids, and even agility area for energetic dogs! Plus, a great idea to have individual shower rooms. Plenty of anti bac everywhere. Very handy for visiting North Norfolk attractions. We will be back!

Very impressed

A first time tenting on Pinecones. Great site within easy reach of Heacham/Hunstanton, great facilities, shop with basics essentials, and friendly welcoming staff. Will definitely will return, have already shared this experience with family.

Absolutely wonderful

Absolutely wonderful stay, extremely friendly staff. Lovely off lead dog area, fabulous walks from the site with Sandringham being a half an hour walk away! I would thoroughly recommend this site to campers & caravanners!

Cosy

Nice site, however the pod was smaller than we expected. To sleep 4, you could not then use the table and chairs provided due to lack of space. The shower facilities were clean enough.

Quiet site, good pitch, clean toilets and shower block, and a good dog wash facility.

These include the fully serviced pitches being made so much bigger, picnic huts on some, picnic benches or Jack and Jill benches on others. Good value, good location

Good value site. Our serviced pitch was great and the site is in an ideal location for Hunstanton and Kings Lynn and the Norfolk coast. Access is easy. Close to busy road, but the noise wasn't intrusive. Needed to clean out the drain - full of pine cones - which given the name of the site shouldn't be a surprise!! Overall, very happy.

Great stay

Really lovely friendly site, conveniently located to coast and amazing woodland walks in Sandringham. The facilities were really clean and private. Huge bonus that it's open all year! Would definitely recommend and visit again x

Friendly, pleasant site near Sandringham

A lovely site! Set in lovely surroundings with very pleasant walks direct from the site, including to the Sandringham estate. Hunstanton and Wells are both within an easy drive. We enjoyed the individual bathrooms with lovely, hot, clean showers and toilets complete with piped music to sing along to! Friendly, helpful staff and good value for money. We'll be back soon.

The facilities were great and the staff very helpful

We enjoyed our stay at Pinecones. It makes a great base for exploring North West Norfolk. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. We were pleased to see that Pinecones is committed to sustainability and making a lovely holiday park environment. We were able to walk into the nearby village for evening meals as well as Sandringham Visitor Centre. We explored the local coastline and walked to Sandringham. The village pub was great too. The wooden seating will be great for outdoor dining in the warmer months.

There is a lot of work happening on site over the winter period, all our fully serviced pitches are being increased in size with privacy fencing between each. We have also purchased picnic huts on some of the hard standing pitches and Jack and Jill benches. We also have a lovely meeting area around the back of reception where you can all gather for a drink and a chat. We look forward to welcoming you back

Stay at Pinecones

Stayed between Christmas and New Year and although it was very wet and muddy, we had a lovely stay.

Owners greeted us

Owners greeted us on arrival and were very helpful with information on walks. Liked the individual toilets, which were kept very clean. Would recommend and definitely come here again.

Value for money

Our experience of staying one night with a small motor home in the depth of winter. Efficient booking and organization. Friendly service. Nice big fully-serviced pitch with lovely covered benches on some pitches for eating outside (in the summer!). Obviously a lot of investment going on. Easy to find the site. However, nowhere is perfect. For us, the road noise from the Bypass was disturbing in the night. The integrated toilet/shower rooms are heated and you open the door to be greeted by piped music. Which is really nice. I just wonder if there will be enough of these in the high season and, also, whether they will get messy with mud etc being walked in and the water sprayed from the shower. Also, the hand-dryers didn't work. The roadway round the site is perhaps a bit messy. It could really do with being tarmac, These things having been said, overall it seems a good site and value for money, and we certainly plan to visit again.

There are picnic benches on some pitches, huts on others for the use of our campers which will have little glow heaters in. Our facilities seem to cope very well during the busy times, we have 15 separate facilities on site, but are also finding that many people are using their onboard facilities at this time. Fantastic camping, excellent shower blocks

Lovely pitches, with wooden chairs or picnic shelters. Individual shower / toilet blocks with the finest 80’s music. Friendly staff that are very informative. Perfect for Sandringham / Hunstanton.

Comfortable and friendly

Very friendly and helpful. Lovely location of pod. Loved the music in the showers. They were careful with hygiene, spray for toilet etc. Only problem was crossing busy road. Why has council not put crossing there?!!
