Peaceful and secluded, Tobacconist Farm is an adult-only site located on the edge of a very historic Market Town called Minchinhampton in Gloucestershire. It is the ideal site to pitch up in the countryside and still have access to all amenities. Dogs are welcome here and in all pubs, with over 400 acres of stunning AONB and many wonderful walks from Michinhampton.

Fantastic. Great toilets and showers. The pitches were beautifully kept private by areas of long grass. This is also great for wildlife. Lovely location close to the village with the fabulous Crown Pub. The best bit however was no children. Peaceful mornings.
Good campsite in a great location

Good site with plenty of space. Quite a few other guests but none were too close to disturb each other. Plenty of showers/loos/hot water. Good comms from owner.

Lovely spot, nice outlook, quiet, friendly site. Easy, lovely walk to Minchinghampton and the common, with easy, quiet roads nearby to get about. Love the layout of the site, the pitches are divided by natural grasses which looks a brilliant idea, good for the wildlife too. Will stay again I'm sure.

A great site - quiet and peaceful. Pitches spacious and well laid out. Toilets etc very clean, though it was annoying that the shower turns off after about 20 seconds!. Lucy was really lovely and friendly, with useful info. Nice village 2 mins walk and great pub/restaurant.

Great location, very relaxed and peaceful, pub close by and Lucy is very helpful and welcoming, would definitely return. Pitches are grass but the site is built on Limestone so no chance of getting stuck in the mud, definitely recommend this site.

Friendly greeting with useful information about the site and the area. Large, private pitch with water and electric hook up. Showers, toilets, sink area all very clean. Small dog walking area which was great. A short walk into the lovely village of Minchinhampton with a nice pub and good shops. Highly recommended.

We stayed as a couple in a tent with electric. We used this as a base to do some Cotswold way walks. All the pitches were a really good size and well maintained. We had an Outwell Montana 6 with extension and there was loads of space between pitches. An individual water tap for the tent (saved walking to a central point), washing machine and fridge freezer to use. The shower block and toilets were immaculately clean. There is a local shop, pub, brilliant butchers, and super fish and chip shop near the site. All in all, it was a really good stay and thoroughly recommend

Great campsite. Not sure if we had the pitch we'd booked, but Lucy very quickly hooked us up (to electric)! Adults only is great for people of a certain age. This site is well positioned for walks on the common (a lot bigger than we thought). Also, visit Henry's Bakehouse in the village. Blueberry blondies, and the sausage rolls are to die for. If there was any criticism, and this is minor, the toilets have a slide vacant/engaged sign on the doors. Wish people would slide it to vacant, once used. Save you from waiting outside a vacant toilet! Also, dogs have to be kept on a lead on site. We have a dog, always on a lead, we have a 10M stake we use for camping. People in the pitch next to us, had a dog off the lead. Tried coming into our tent on more than one occasion. But, the stars of this site are Lucy, and her son? Absolutely golden! Would love to come back again, and would recommend.

Great find, a few minutes walk into the town with pub and cafe. Has a chip shop but was closed during our visit, general store post office and chemist are also available in the town. Facilities on site were very clean and tidy and always available (although not very busy). Everyone was around the perimeter of the field. The field slopes down with the facilities at the bottom, so most pitches are on a slope so levellers required. Slight noise from the road during peak times but otherwise, a quiet location. Good views of gliders launched from nearby gliding club. Had mostly wet weather when we stayed but still got out to walk around Minchinhampton Common. Lovely piece of open land to have on your doorstep. Ideal for stopover or longer stay to explore the area. Ideal for parking up and walking from your pitch. Say hello to the donkeys on the way out. lthough we did manage to drive through the town in a 6.5m Motorhome it is very tight and I would recommend coming in via the Hampton Rd.

We came in our campervan and it was great to have both water and electric on the pitch, as well as the space to park at whatever angle we chose. It is not overcrowded and is within 10 minutes walk of Minchinhampton. Being an adult only site means it is peaceful; it also has options for dog walking. We don't normally opt for grass pitch sites, but were reassured that the soil layer is thin on top of limestone, so drains well. The Crown pub is expensive, but the food good and the starters the size of mains anyway. Can't wait to return to this site 😀

Fantastic site. Lucy really helpful on arrival and pointed out some lovely walks over the Common. First time staying on grass as campsite doesn't have hardstanding. This was not a problem as site drains well. EHU never tripped once. Amenities good, plenty of hot water for showers and to wash pots. Amazing views. Very dog friendly village and site. Highly recommended 👌

Lovely stay, very relaxed. Really nice to have no kids running around and to be able to have a fire! 🔥 Great dog walking area, clean toilets and showers (although could do with a few more). The logs we were sold were damp which was a bit disappointing. Lovely market town 2 minutes walk, but London prices. Bus stop where you can get bus to Stroud for £2 and lots of lovely footpaths/bridleways. Fabulous stay and we shall definitely return!

Picturesque site with great shower/loo and kitchen facilities. Really close to the very pretty town of Minchinhampton with a great pub, lovely cafes and a chippy all in walking distance, even though the site makes you feel like you're away from it all. The owner Lucy is very friendly and helpful.

Stayed here because it was convenient to family who visited. They took us out in their car.

Yes Irene, you were one of the rudest campers I've experienced in years! I very rarely write a response but you deserve one!

No real effort was put into making the decision to stay here, but as it turns out, it was a great choice. The camping paddock is attractive and maintained, and the pictures are very generous. The shower block was spotless on arrival. You're met by the lady who runs the campsite and are taken into your pitch. In our case, she chose one with partial shade for the dogs which I thought was kind. When I took the dogs out for a final stretch at nine thirty-ish, I noticed some fire pits were going strong and people enjoying themselves. Having said that, everyone kept their voices down and I turned in a few minutes later, had no trouble getting to sleep and heard nothing from other campers. I have never chosen an adult only site before, but I will certainly choose one again for the peace and quiet. The village is literally not even five minutes walking distance and we found a nice little pub to have a pint before we return to the campsite for supper. My wife wandered in the next morning to have a look around the charity shops and returned a very happy lady. I don't believe anyone would be disappointed with this campsite, unless you had to have a hardstanding pitch, in which case is not for you. But for us, the ground was incredibly firm and even with our fairly large motorhome, we had no issues whatsoever.
