Pitch up with fantastic views of Weymouth Bay at Rosewall Camping, just outside of Weymouth, 15 minutes from Dorchester. Choose from plenty of spacious grass pitches with breathtaking views across the bay, each suitable for tents and campervans. The site serves up all the attractions of the South Coast, with the bonus of fishing in two well-stocked lakes and horse riding opportunities next to the site. A great location to discover Dorset!

Check in very swift and easy, plus the site allows early access which is a plus. Fairly informal regarding where you pitch, but again that's good providing you observe the required distances. Much of the site slopes, which can't be helped but there were plenty of spots which were absolutely fine with levelling blocks, and I went in the school holidays so possibly at its busiest. Very short walk to a nice local pub, although the nearest beach isn't much to write home about. Having said that, the site is conveniently placed for good beaches a short distance away, and of course, Weymouth is only about 5 miles by car. A nice touch was the wood-fired pizza "van" on site which sold very reasonably priced, and tasty pizzas. All in all, a very positive experience and I'll certainly be returning.

Loved this campsite for simple, back to basics camping. Lovely helpful people. Perfect for walking. Really liked having a decent pub 10 minutes away. So easy to walk the dog from here, we loved walking to the 2 local beaches. Sockets and USB charging points in the shower block was a nice touch. Great ice pack exchange system that was easy and very affordable. The shop sold most things you would need. We enjoyed not being allotted small square pitches. We also loved the bat display every night and the scenery down through the valley and over the sea was stunning. The absolutely no noise between 11pm and 8am made it one of the more peaceful family campsites we've stayed in.

This campsite is very close to the sea and within walking distance of a superb pub. This was important to our stay as the weather was less than kind. Facilities were perfect. The campsite is all grass and it's a case of pitch where you like with polite notes to keep your distance from other people. We will definitely stay again. Thank you.

Great campsite, with decently clean facilities and a food van that came in the morning and afternoon. 10/10 would recommend, the location was perfect with lovely views from the site as well as a 2 minute walk from the beach and pub.

This was our second visit to Rosewall and this time, we took the rest of the family. This is a great campsite for couples and families alike. The showers and toilets are always clean and well kept. The pub is a short walk away and Weymouth town centre is a short drive away. There is a small shop on site which we found really handy to buy ice packs for our cool box. This is a really nicely setup for camping, with lots of hedge lines and corners to set your tent up along. It is a little hilly, so places to rig your tent can be a little restricted, but has never been an issue for us. My only downside is it is a little more expensive than other sites I have stayed at, but the facilities make it worth it.

Very easy check in, pitch where you like. Two shower blocks, the bottom one is huge but no seat/bench in the shower cubicle. Water was hot with push button shower. All grass pitches with no electric but great value with a single person discount. Great to see when travelling alone.

A small site very well maintained. Shower and toilet blocks both super clean. No litter. Food truck was a nice touch as we were not cooking. Best view ever. Short walk to a cracking pub. I not keen on dogs, however all the dogs on the site were well controlled and no mess anywhere as owners cleared immediately. The site could probably afford to put an area aside for dogs to be taken. Overall, a fantastic little gem.

Rosewall was great. Very clean and neatly cut grass. We had a view of the sea. Bathroom facilities clean and well kept. The shop was reasonably priced and had all essentials. It's very close to the beach. We'll recommend Rosewall for sure!

Great location, fantastic and clean facilities. Loads of space between pitches, so not packed in like sardines. Takeaway food available on site and walking distance to The Smugglers Inn.

Absolutely brilliant campsite. Spacious, extremely clean facilities, no queues and very friendly staff! Location is golden with routes to east and west coastal paths. Pub 5 mins walk with amazing sea views. Such good value for money. Will be making this a regular place to stay!

Great site with beautiful sea views and left to ourselves in the best way possible! No set pitches, just park up wherever you like, no need to check in if you roll up later then 5pm, just let them know you're there the next morning! Two toilet blocks, so you're always in walking distance despite the site being quite large and hilly. Very well stocked shop, the only thing is I would have preferred to have been greeted - it would have been a little bit more friendly! You can pay a refundable deposit for some freezer blocks but we'd have preferred to have this as well as being able to freeze our own so our food stayed cold on the way back home! :) The chilled atmosphere was great as it definitely wasn't a 'quiet' campsite even after a certain time. We didn't mind that too much. All in all, we would 100% stay here again if we were the sort of campers to visit a town twice!

My stay was great, beautiful location with rolling hills around and I stayed during the week when it was nice and quiet. On the Friday it got busier and noisier, but I left the Saturday morning. The facilities were great, I was surprised with how clean it all was. There's a pebbly beach a short walk away, and the Smugglers Inn (also a short walk) does great food. I did the walk from the campsite to Durdle Door, which was a tough walk but beautiful for those interested in a hike.

Overall, it's well above the average campsite. Pros: - Very spacious and it wasn't really busy - Quiet night - Great facilities, no queuing, clean and tidy - Raised fires and BBQ allowed, which is a must 🔥 Cons: - Most pitches are on a slope, so I'd recommend you get there early.

I've just returned from a wonderful stay at Rosewall; just me and my two dogs. I stayed midweek and the site was extremely welcoming, peaceful and with very clean facilities. There are brilliant walks straight from the site and also a great pub which serves good food. This is such a lucky find for me and I'll definitely be returning soon.

A lovely campsite with clean, well-equipped facilities like shower blocks, toilets and washing-up stations. Good vibe to the whole camp, respectful 'neighbours' and a great location to use a base to visit local attractions. The on site shop is fairly overpriced and quite basic, but I guess good for an emergency. Otherwise there's plenty of large supermarkets 15mins drive away.
