Ideally located ten minutes away from York City Centre, Willow Caravan Park in North Yorkshire is an adult only site set in a beautiful location with ponds and wildlife. Choose grass pitches suitable for tents or gravel for tourers. Open all year round, spend your day sitting by the lake, taking the dog for a walk or even enjoying breakfast at the café on site. Dogs are welcome too, there is even a groomers onsite!

Great location. Good quiet site. Having a reception/human presence to ask questions of would have been helpful. We stayed in a tent but the tent-area is such a long way from the toilet and shower facilities. This didn't make sense to me really as it is the tent campers who need those services the most. It was clean though and a nice location :) Oh, other thing to be careful about, the showers seem to be on the same water circuit as the washing up sink outside. The shower got very very hot when someone ran cold water in the outside sink. Please be aware of that, particularly if you have little ones. Aside from that (which I hope they can fix) the showers were great, decent pressure, good heat and no extra charge. Hi Kathrin, thank you for your review and glad to hear you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for your feedback regarding the toilets being far away, we understand they are a bit of a walk. We have only just started taking on camping bookings properly as of this April, we are looking into a lot of things to make this side of the site better for the future. In regards to the shower, we are aware of some issues and are trying to fix these the best we can, it can be a long process and a difficult one due to being in a field. Please note that no younger guests under 18 "little ones" will be using the showers or facilities as we are an adult only site. We appreciate your feedback and we look forward to welcoming you back! Had a peaceful night's stay at Willow Caravan Park, would definitely stay there again if travelling to York in the future.

Lovely site, very tidy and peaceful. Good location with a retail park nearby. Has a really nice café and gift shop on site, cakes were amazing. However, we were in a tent with electric hook up and upon arrival, found tents were the furthest away from toilets and showers and it was a bit of a free for all if you wanted to use electric. You just have find a spot, and hope your camping hook up reaches the socket that lots of people have to use. If you come later, you may be out of luck. This socket tower also houses the water tap, bit bizarre having electric and water together. It was a bit of a trek to the toilets, especially if you needed to go during the night. They should be nearer the tents as caravans don't have as much of a need for the toilets. I would recommend, but be aware about the little things that may make a difference to your stay.

Everything was perfect. We stayed on an electric tent pitch with no problems at all. It was very peaceful, will be returning.

Fantastic spot with grass pitch, electric hook up and a lovely café and farm shop on site. No kids makes it very much a quiet and peaceful setting with great woodland walks. Fabulous amenities and only 10mins from York City centre. Highly recommended. Many Thanks Willow Caravan Park, Dave & Sarah ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
