Great site in a fantastic location and brilliant position to access Sherwood Forest. Our dog loved the long beautiful walks around the forest. The site is very clean and the toilets are spotless.

We were welcomed by the friendliest staff members who guided us around the site and let us choose which pitch we would prefer. The facilities were spotless! We spent hours walking around the forest. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back.

The site was wonderful, my partner and I booked for 5 nights to enjoy some time in nature. There are some fabulous walks nearby and some great activities in the local area. It was slightly awkward travelling via public transport given our bags, however there is a bus stop right outside Sherwood Forrest, meaning a short walk to the campsite. The site itself was great. Wonderful and friendly staff who were able to help with any issues, a brilliant location and much appreciated clean facilities. There were some additional services such as food and a shop for any forgotten necessities.

As advertised it is a short walk into the woods with lots of attractive walks and cycle paths. The facilities were very clean and the staff friendly. The nearest pub for food is the Dog and Duck, which does lovely food. However, it is a 5 minute car drive.

Parents, one teenager and one dog spent 4 nights here and loved it. Ideally situated for accessing the miles of cycling and walking trails in Sherwood Pines, and the visitors centre and café. The site was clean and despite the recent rain, it was in decent condition. The toilet/shower block was always clean and everything worked. The serviced pitch was good (although we did have to move pitch because the first one we tried had the grey waste drain higher than the caravan's outlet, so it wouldn't drain!).The electricity and water flowed well. The best thing was the location. The dog loved being able to be off-lead in the forest in moments. The teenager and father loved riding the graded cycle trails. We all loved the café.

A lovely, well-maintained site on the edge of the forest. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. There was plenty for us to do with our granddaughter and dogs, and there was plenty of space between pitches. We'll certainly visit again.

Great site, well maintained, clean and tidy. Our Poodles loved it, with many walks straight from the door. Great for cycling too. Would be great for children, with activities very close to the site.
Exceptional in every way!

We arrived to a warm welcome and being able to choose from a few different pitch areas. We chose a spot near the facilities and tucked under the trees. The site is so incredibly clean and tidy, everyone respects the site rules. The play area is huge and great for all ages. It's also located right near the toilets which helps for the little ones. The location is right in the forest, we saw squirrels, birds and heard some deer. This is an incredibly relaxing, well thought out campsite. I cannot wait to return!

What an awesome place. Super clean and modern. We did suffer some winds this morning but managed to get tent done on 50 mph winds. We went with our in-laws and the staff managed to pitch us together. They were always about cleaning or checking facilities. Toilets and showers again very clean but also nice and warm and roomy. A wee chair to put bits on whilst showering and they stayed dry. There was also family shower rooms. Plenty to do with bike trails. And walks. Great for adults and kids of all ages. There was a pizza van which also did gyros and the kids loved it!

Excellent site, the best we have stayed on although, with no young children, this site is excellent for families. We stayed with our grown children in a 3 tent group. Shower block spotless. We would definitely stay here again. Only negative was the smell that was in the air. We camped on the top field, so may have been from farm fields nearby, but the site is excellent although very busy never, felt overcrowded at all.

We were pitched by the park which was perfect for kids. All of the facilities (showers and pot washing) were immaculate. Play park was closed off by staff at 21:30, so quiet time. Staff were very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Site shop not well stocked with basics, bread and milk. Not too much of an issue, as Co-op is a 10 min drive. Would highly recommend for families, we had a blast!

Great campsite with lots of options on where you can camp. Staff really friendly. Facilities were kept clean and the park was a hive of activity for the kids. The opportunity is the shop, we kept having to go off site as the shop simply doesn't offer what you need. But all in in all a great stay and no doubt we will be back.

The site is very lovely. Situated in the middle of the forest therefore fresh air guaranteed. There is plenty to do like walking/hiking, bike ride, go apes and much more. Honestly we stayed only a weekend but had so much fun and memories to cherish, would recommend this camp site for any age.

My main problem was that I should have parked closer closer to the facilities. Do you have an allotted area for disabled people - I should have asked! My fault. Also, the weather was awful!
