A note from the site themselves...

We were over the moon to receive "Winners of the Tested by Tots Best Campsite award for 2022" as that year was just our second season.

We set out to provide a great holiday destination for families and for those who enjoy outdoor activities such as walking, golfing, canoeing and exploring our beautiful towns and villages.

A review we particularly appreciated included "We would highly recommend Haywood farm campsite! We stayed with our 3 boys who are 11, 7 and 6. Within 30 minutes of being there my 7-year-old said, 'this is the best place ever. It's like kid heaven, so many fun things to do!'

We look forward to welcoming you to our family-run site here at Haywood Farm. We are so lucky to have such a spacious and scenic setting in a location that is close to many attractions and in a beautiful part of the country. We know just how lucky we are and therefore we welcome everyone from families and friends to couples, individuals, and pets

Small Tent - Small Non Electric Grass PitchesOct 2024

Lovely, lovely campsite, Fiona and the team are a delight to the site itself. Everything is on hand, facilities are well kept and are clean. My gripe was the noise from the M50 which to be fair, is out of their control, but did make it less peaceful. Also could require more lighting around the campsite.

Absolutely lovely

Large Tent - Small Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

Had 3 lovely nights with my nephews and dogs. It was the perfect spot to chill and relax, and in a great location to explore the Forest of Dene. Highly recommend.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

We stayed for two nights last week at this lovely campsite and would highly recommend it to others. The facilities are excellent. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. We stayed at the weekend, so we were able to take advantage of the breakfast butties. There are also pizzas available in the evening if you don't fancy cooking and we saw a sign saying on a Thursday that up the road, fish and chips are available. It is very quiet at night. Great for families. There were children milling about happily and riding bikes enjoying the fresh air. There is an excellent games room with table football. There is unashamedly no Wi-Fi which wasn't a problem for us. We would stay there again if in the area.
